Good morning ladies.

Well, its actually stopped raininghere and I can see the sun peeping through, typical after the week end isn't it?
I dont have anything planned today further than the plumber coming at 8.15 this morning to fit me a new tap in the kitchen.

Its a lovely sunny morning here, bit cool and breezy out though.
Amy has just gone - first day of work today. She is very nervous, but have told her its like that first day of school!! Neither of us liked that day, when it came round to September!

Good morning Marion and Karen - cold but bright here this morning. Martin was up at 6.30 this morning for golf, but I have only just got up. Had a lovely meal last night at Ian & Ruth's but left early as they both looked so tired. Ruth has 2 photo shoots today and a wedding on Saturday, then another wedding the following Friday and Saturday and every weekend after that. She is doing well but spends a lot of hours sorting out the photos after. Sally had a wonderful time on her 10 mile ride yesterday even though it was pouring down. They had to wait for a while as the air ambulance came to pick up someone who had come off. A bit worrying that the horses could spook when it took off again but it was ok.

Don't know what I am doing today yet. Good luck to Amy, I am sure she will enjoy it once she is there.

Amy text me to say the Bus had a 'blow out'!! Keith went to get dressed to go and pick her up, but she phoned to say they were on the move, albeit slowly. Apparently they had to go to the Depot and swap buses! Good job she has plenty of time to spare!

Amy has just text me to say she is enjoying herself, she is on lunchbreak at the moment. I have been doing a bit of housework this morning... Keith asked, very knowingly why I was doing so much housework!
Off now to feed Daisy... she is looking very hungry!

Oh poor Amy - on her first day too. So glad she enjoyed herself when she was there though

I dont suppose we will ever know. Sal didn't know what had happened apart from someone coming off but it as all X-country so air ambulance was the best thing.
