It's really strange today, Jakey goes but to school today as yesterday was a development day and I'm not rushing around barking orders. I've done the pack lunches, book bag and PE kit but I still feel I've forgotten something. Oh well if I have I'll find out later

Back to work for me today, more washing to put out when I have finished on the puter!!!
Have got a man coming on Friday to change the electric meter... all these years we have been paying for Economy 7 and they now tell us we are on the wrong tariff!!! When we moved in 22 years ago the house was on storage heaters, we got rid and had Parkray Central Heating fitted. What with the electric going up and up we looked into changing suppliers .. and it turns out that Economy 7 only pays for those on storage heaters I have been doing all my washing/dishwasher/tumble drier on at night!!! and not getting the benefit!! Anyway hoping the new tariff will make a difference to our bills.

Afternoon ladies. I've been at work this morning and it was colder inside the building than outside. The sun is lovely so I have 2 loads of washing drying and another load in the washer ready to go out when I get off of here.

Going into town once I have collected the kids from school as Michaela is complaining her school shoes are hurting her.

Hi ladies, thought I would pop in and say hi....

had a fab holiday, weather was great sunny and lovely....

we went to Trago Mills and spent a fortune...bought all 4 sets of the dandelion & daisey stamp sets for £3.74 each which I thought was a bargain, so had to buy them all... and they stamp out beautifully clear...
also while we were at Trago I treated nige to a new sea fishing rod ....which he got up most mornings early with the girls and their rods and dragged them down to the sea....mind you they only cought seaweed but they all loved it....

Hope you are all basking in the sunshine!!! It felt like a summers day earlier when we were out, trust me to wear a black jacket... I was sweltering!

Managed to get all the stuff I need to make my mum's birthday cake.... so am gonna knuckle down and make the sponges and will freeze em till I need em then!!

Got some beautiful ribbon to go on it too... trouble is I wanna put it on a card...not a flippin cake! LOL




Got this end of reel mint green length of ribbon for just 10p..... there is a metre and a half of it....!!



My mum is gonna have to surrender it after her party and promise to not get any squishy icing on it!!!

Good afternoon to you all, I haven't managed to get on here yet today We did our 5 mile walk this morning and then to the pub for a lovely lunch. The weather was fantastic Then when we got home I was out in the garden planting all the plants I bought from the garden centre yesterday. Just realised I put some washing in the machine before we went for the walk and it's still there, only remembered because I read the post from Frances saying she had done hers Just about to do tea now and then I am going to sit and watch tv for the night - I think it will be an early one today Glad you had a lovely holiday Shell, and brought back some craft bargains too

Evening everyone, hope you have all enjoyed this wonderful weather I had to go to a meeting with the social worker and outreach worker for Dollie , I ve come home feeling as if her dad and his partner and social worker were ganging up on me ( micky had to work ) ,luckily the outreach worker has seen Dollie in action and was on myside, so those hugs that are going I'll have one or two !!!! I went and got my nails done and went to see my lovely friend Shelia but I still don't feel right......Your all probably thinking misrable ol' bat ! sorrry.
Getting my hair hi lited tomorrow ready for saturday and my holiday.....feel better already.Have a good evening , hugs to all .... Lexie xxx

I felt better after I'd written down how I felt, silly I know might have to go and watch Dirty Dancing with a glass of wine , that makes me feel better , even more better if we had some choccy lexie xx
