Sunday 7th June (I think) Empty Sunday 7th June (I think)

Post  Karen R Sun Jun 07, 2009 8:00 am

Morning...

looks like another long day. Wish I could stay in bed, I know Cookie is on the up now, and Keith is in the best place - but still I am waking early and just cant seem to get back to sleep.
Have just about got over last nights upset.. poor Amy was beside herself, its not fair on Keith who is laid there in hospital - he said he was so embarrassed. Fortunately we have a good friendship with his boss and I phoned them up and they were fine - couldnt believe what she was like!! Anyway when they get the puppy, they are coming over to pick us up to go back over to see new pup... wonder if MIL wants to come!!!
Anyway... going again today, am going to take a bacon roll in for him. The food isnt up to much, and he is hungry.
Off now to do some ironing. Enjoy your day - wish Keith could see the sort of friends I have on here, well he will when he comes home

Love Karen and Amy xxx oh and Cookie sending whatever bunnies send... twitchy nose xxx's

Good morning ladies

Haven't been on for a while due to holidays etc., and it takes a while to get the jist of what is going on with
all the postings.

Karen, I hope things improve for you soon, try not to let MIL get to you, I have one of those that is full of herself and
totally inconsiderate of what they say to people.

Lou, hope they sort your back out soon, that was one addition to your problems that you could have done without.
but I am glad your time in hospital was fruitful.

Hope all those planning BBQs are lucky with this afternoons weather.

I am off in a bit to do some shopping, had a lovely day yesterday at a flower punch class making clematis and busy lizzies. The Clematis are gorgeous. I will try to put a piccie on later. But that means of course that food shopping etc., needs to be done today. OH is in bed from a night shift so I will get it done while he is there as I can't stay in and be quiet! lol!

Have a good day whatever you are doing

Good morning all,

It has rained overnight here and is bright sunshine now! I will try and shoo it up your way for the all BBQ's going on! I don't need it so you are more than welcome.

Karen.... glad the boss was understanding... when you go see the pup don't forget to get a piccy.... i love Ridgebacks I love you Big hugs for all of you, just don't hug Keith too tightly! Bailey (my guinea pig) sends snuffles to Cookie albino

Pat... look forward to seeing the result of your class hun x

I still can't move very far but the good news is that since my hospital stay my grip has improved so that I can now open my own hot water bottle which is a blessing at the moment!! lol!

Hope all the Barbies go well and that you dont get rained off. Have a lovely day all xxx

Good morning everyone. We've got rain, hail, thunder and lightning at the moment and the road is like a river.
I was going to go shopping but I don't think I will at the moment

Karen I know it's hard to say but just ignore the MIL. It seems to me she just doesn't like the idea of Keiths boss leaving his dogs with you instead of putting them in a kennel whilst they're away. Glad to hear both Cookie and Keith are recovering. Don't forget to take a photo of the puppy as I'd love to see it. Hope Keith enjoys his bacon roll later Smile Sending you all (((((HUGS)))))

Pat I look for ward to seeing the piccies of the things you made in your class Smile

Lou take it easy and don't overdo things Smile

Hope you all manage to get your BBQs later and enjoy meeting up Smile

Have a good day whatever you are doing Smile Smile

Hope the weather stays clear for your BBQs and that everyone has a fab time. Those at Janet's .... you do know that we want photos don't you? he he.

Glad things are looking a little better Karen and I'm sure that Keith will soon be home with you and able to join in the banter on here, if you risk him getting addicted to it too he he. My OH is always reading the various threads on here Smile

Lou I hope you are feeling a little more comfortable today hun, I missed where you said what had happened to your back Sad

If I missed anyone out I do apologise ... my brain will return to normal next week, once the school fair is over with and I can relax again he he.

Hugs and positive vibes for all that need. Smile

Sounds like you've had what we had this morning. We went passed the school earlier and the front playground was like a swimming pool so I guess I'd better send the kids to school in their wellies.

Hope you managed to get your BBQs those of you that were having them Smile

Have a good evening Smile

And the DLA have the cheek to say you don't need any for mobility ....pah!!!!!!! makes my blood boil. Ask them to do the school run for you and for an ambulance to the hosp Smile Actually you are entitled to a transport ambulance for all your appointments hun so make use of it. Order it via your doctor at least 1-2 days ahead of the appointment.
