Saturday 27th June
Morning!
Bit dull out at the moment, the forecast is warm but with thundery showers - hopefully it will stay dry for the arrival of the bride and for her photos.
Keith hasnt had a bad night, think probably it was too much for him yesterday what with going to the dentist, then he walked to the bank. Tried sleeping in bed, but he still cant get comfy.
Have a lovely day, will hopefully pop some photos on later when we get back.

Re: Saturday 27th June
Good morning Karen, Andrea and all who follow
Sun shining and feels very humid here this morning already, like the heat but the humidity is horrible drains you and makes you sweat like a horse
Hope Keith is feeling better very soon Karen, cant be any fun at all being in constant pain
Not seen Mamma Mia the film version yet, went to see it at the theatre and loved it but just havent got round to getting the dvd. As I said earlier in the week we have watched both the Daniel Craig Bond movies now, they were on special at Tesco's so got them and really enjoyed both of them
Nothing planned for the weekend just take it how it comes, just hope it lasts a bit longer than last weekend seemed to
Take care all and be good, if thats possible stay safe xXx

Re: Saturday 27th June
Good morning Karen, Andrea and Jan and all who follow. I have no plans for today apart from making my ATCs Overcast here and depending whether you look at the BBC forecast or Met Office one we could be having sunshine, showers or heavy rain. We had a little bit of rain yesterday morning before we were up which had already dried up by 7.00 and nothing for the rest of the day. Still got to see the second Bond movie, that was the one recorded at Sally's reception at work Wanted to watch it with her so she could point it out. Loved Mama Mia, saw it at the cinema Hope the wedding goes ok Karen and Keith manages to survive it without too much discomfort.
Have a good day whatever you are doing, and hope all the poorlies are feeling a little better. Still no diagnosis on my great nephew, although he is responding to antibiotics, I think my sister is very worried but tries not to show it

Re: Saturday 27th June
Morning all,
Well me and three lunatics were screeching out the lyrics to Mamma Mia about 9pm last night.... did ya hear us??????
I love it, its a real 'feel good' film!!
All the kids were quite well behaved. Two youngest were asleep by 8.45pm, middly two asleep by 10 and eldest asleep by 11....... so not too bad!
Hubby came home wobbling all over the place (thats the only trouble about not going out having a drink regularly) he overdoes it and ends up feeling cack!!! He wobbled in at 12.45am with a kebab!!! I went to bed!!!
Hope you all have a lovely day!!!!
Hope you have a nice day at the wedding Karen and that Keith doesn't overdo it x

Re: Saturday 27th June
Morning ladies very grey and sticky here. Just a flying visit got to pick Roy up from shops as he's bound to have bought more than he can carry. Well I know he's buyibg sugar to make jam so that will be a bit heavt then he's coming down here to do some "destructive gardening" - ie hard pruning! Will pop back later if I get a chance.
Re: Saturday 27th June
Ooooh Sue... last time I did hard pruning in the garden I couldn't use my hands for 4 days!!!
Re: Saturday 27th June
Good morning everyone.
Hope the sun stays out for the wedding Karen and Keith manages to get through it ok
How's Ady this morning? Did the kebab soak up any of the alcohol? Your a complete whiz with sleepovers, last time Jakes had a mate round they were in bed chatting till early hours of the morning
Not much planned for today, need to go into town to pick up a birthday pressie for Jakes mate for Wed, going to a laser party which should be good fun. Then planning on taking it easy even though I have plenty of jobs after the house I should be doing Anyone got a handy man I could borrow?
Off to get a cuppa, have a lovely day everyone

Re: Saturday 27th June
Oh Di..... I have no clue how hubby is this morning as he had to get up for work at 6.30!!! Just as well he don't drive to work me thinks!!!
I think the reason I have success with sleepovers is because I used to read all the time with the kids at their schools and I was also a Parent Governor for the younger ones!!! They know I am kind but firm!
As for the elder one, my sister would sort her out if she misbehaved as I wouldn't sit for her anymore!!!

My sister bought a new door for their downstairs loo. A year later she baked a birthday cake with candle - her hubby wondered what she was doing as it wasn't any of their birthdays until she started singing Happy Birthday to the door. He got the hint
Re: Saturday 27th June
Trouble is jacky, if I did that I'd be baking cakes every other day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We'd all be big as houses!!!!
Re: Saturday 27th June
Glad it all went well Lou.
You started me off -can't stop singing Abba songs now!
Had a great morning at Bluewater and spent a small fortune -John Lewis had 50% sale so got curtains, 2 bedding sets, square pillows, a new duckdown duvet and 2 table lamps.
Then treated myself to a new skirt, waterfall cardi and necklace in M&S (also reduced) Poor Clive only got a pair of shorts, baseball cap, a couple of silk ties and a polo shirt. Treated him to a Latte and muffin for taking me and not complaining once - he hates shopping normally.
Sun's gone in but its still warm and the washing is dry. I'll bring it in, have a cuppa then I'm off to watch the tennis - byeeeeeee
