Wednesday morning

A very good morning to you all, a bit cooler today here, of to babysit grandaughter this morning she was ill yesterday so was up and down the road like a yo yo sitting with her while mummy took no 2 grandson to school, I do hope you have a great day, take care all of you.

looks like we have had quite a bit of rain in the night - not that I heard much!!!
Have got the children today, but their mum is taking them up to school so that is one less trip for me to do.
Still waiting on the result of the blood test, and the orth. guy to visit. The ward Keith is on now is so much different to the one he went in first time around. Amy wasnt allowed to sit in the 'patients chair' due to risk of infection. Keith wasnt allowed to charge his mobile up... fair enough - I can understand, but there wasnt a problem before with it.
Its so upsetting as the ward is full and they are all elderley gentlemen. One was wandering around wanting to go out for a walk, it was absolutely throwing it down with rain. Another one kept trying to climb out of bed and was fiddling with the machinery that kept bleeping and the nurse would have to attend to the machine. The gentleman next door to Keith wanted a drink and his wife had got one of the feeding cups, but the poor man was almost choking. Another gentleman kept going to the toilet, but he wanted to go to the Ladies toilets in the next bay!! It really is so sad to see them all like that.

Work today and will motivate and get in the shower once I can stop yawning
Was a few ladies like that when I was in hospital Karen, one elderly lady had broken her hip and had to wear a brace but she kept trying to take it off and then get out of bed, was so worried she would get up and fall again that a few of us didnt get much sleep the first few nights, the nurses ended up taking her mattress in the end and putting it in a side room near their station so they could keep an eye on her, no real complaints about the hospital other than the lack of staff on nights and the poor nurses were rushed off their feet

Good morning all, overcast here this morning but at least its not throwing it down. Had to go with Martin yesterday afternoon to pick up the van from being serviced. Dropped him off at the garage and set off home and the heavens opened there was flooding on the road and the cars were driving very slowly then it stopped just as quickly as it started. When Martin came in I asked him if he got caught in it and he had no problem at all - no flooded road so must have drained away immediately it stopped raining Got the washing to do today and must pop to the shops too for some food.

Morning all

Well it must have been a day for sick people yesterday my hubby had to rush my son to the docs and they put him on the nebulizer (SP) has he had an asthma attack on the way to work, now hes on steriods and antibotics but derek said he sounded a lot better last night than he did yesterday morn, i now hes 37 but hes still my boy.

Karen have spoken to you and hope keith is ok.

Lexie all that housework yesterday no wonder you were tired last night, one of my grandsons who is 10 is in to the transformers toys but they have got expensive now so they are a special treat.

Well we have lost the sun today blue skys all you can see is cloud and its a lot cooler than last weds.

Definately was a day for sick peeps yesterday Janette! I had to get an emergency appt too!! Have gotta have blood tests today and have been taken off my medication as it is having all sorts of side effects and my last lot of bloods were slightly alarming!

My GP reckons I may have to go back into hossy soon if it doesn't all calm down

Just getting fed up with it now...... am getting very intolerant of it! Find myself getting angry really easy so gotta calm down a bit I think!!

So sorry to hear about Keith being back in hun, what a shame. I think its ridiculaous after the damage the poor love did that they didn't have him back in for a follow up. Now look what they have cause. The ward sounds a nightmare, hope he isn't in too long x Hugs for you and Amy x

Jannette... your poor son, my mum is the same with me... she worries endlessly bless her. Specially when she knows my legs are playing up and I could fall. I worry always about my girls, its just a MUM thing!

Oh my goodness big hugs to you both Lou and Janette, Lexie our Gregory is into ps3 at the moment .His favourite games are call of duty and paradise burnout, he has got all the actionmen, remote controlled cars, hotwheel cars you name it he has.I could start a shop with all his stuff. I got all i wanted for him and two cakes too, one for us all to share and a car cake for him, im sure we will have some of that too off to peg washing out now hope it doesnt rain

Have just rung my daughter and she had to go to the docs yesterday becasue she was up all monday night with her chest and couldnt find any inhalers, have just spoken to son and he said he nearly woke us at 3am to fetch an ambulance between 3 and 4 this morn he was really bad, i said you should have rung the house phone from his bedroom if he couldnt have walked and said help, and hes just found out that the chemist havent given him enough steriods they have given him 10 short, so have rung the chemist of course the boss is out today, but i will ring back tomorrow, mom on the war path, ha ha,

Morning ladies. Weather a bit mixed today I think - alternating between grey and sun. Got book club this afternoon. Booked carpet cleaner for next week and he's going to do Roy's 3 piece suite as well.

I've noticed a lot of door to door salesmen recently - must be employment situation I suppose. Had vegetables, fish and frozen foods in last week! Just been watching another one in road with a clipboard who has gone into next road but left his car parked across my drive!!! He'd better get it shifted before I want to go out.

dosnt that just pee you off sue, they do the same outside our house, i fetched the police the once and i may as well not bothered he just said to the workman if her husband comes home can you move your lorry i was fuming i can tell you, but i got a blue badge yesterday for the car so am going to ring the council and have a white line painted accross our drive and see if that stops them,

Well I managed to get my own back on the Vampire.... by getting her uniform a little bit red!!! I think I took her by surprise.... didn't know I had that much in me!!!

Just as well some of my tests were to check my clotting as it took a full 15 minutes for me to stop!!!

I know what you mean about falling asleep before the school run Frances, thats why I am on here or else I would have done after the walking I have done today!

Iam in the middle of playing with th Peacock Cut an emboss , but I like the owl too. We have just had a phone call from Sally. She is at the stables and has locked her keys in the car. Wanted to know if we had a spare but we have never had one as she had moved out before she got that car. Suggested picking up the keys from her house but found out her housemate/landlady has already gone abroad so there is no-one who has a spare key. Her landlady's boyfriend has one but the only number she has for him is in the house This is just like Sal She has got a couple of lads trying to get into her car for her. We did say she should give us a key to her house in case something happens and she was going to get permission as it's in her contract not to get a duplicate key, and she had obviously forgotten about it. I think she will have to get the AA to get in the car or a locksmith to get in the house to get the spare key Kids
