Re: Day out in London
Look forward to seeing the photos Scotty. How lovely to have such great memories captured of this special day. Does that include any taken on the London Eye?
Re: Day out in London
Hi Scotty I have only just read about your wonderful day in London, a dream come true for some of us, and it is wonderful that they made all feel welcome, I am glad all went well look after yourself take care lv Janet

We are having a LOT of bother with Jimmy just now
His non-stop barking is really getting to us
Body still trying to catch up but it was well worth it
My dog barks as we have a glass panel in the front door and she sees shadows of people going past. She's particularly bad when hubby is out as she sits in the middle of the room looking at the door and growling. It's quite unnerving when you are on your own. I was told by a dog trainer that the best thing to do to stop them barking is use a water pistol and shoot straight in the face. I tried it with my plant spray and it did shut her up and now if anyone comes to the door and she is barking I only have to pick it up. Unfortunately if they come in and she knows them she completely ignores it She is 12 years old now so I don't think we can change her
Re: Day out in London
Thanks folks
WOW Craftworker I shall try the waterpistol trick
Used to do that with the cats to teach them not to go on the worktops and it worked
My daughter is now using it on the cat to stop it scratching her new settee
Wouldn't mind but the little minx in nigh on 18 years old and has suddenly developed this habit (the cat that is, not my daughter)
I suspect she is jealous of Sarah's boyfriend
Will try it with Jimmy too
I can see the floor getting rather wet over the next few weeks

Love the cat photo
Well folks I have managed it at last
I have uploaded the photos from my QVC day out
There are more to come
I sent an email to Catherine Huntley yesterday to thank her as she had been sooo nice to me
As soon as I had sent it there was an immediate reply
She was thanking me very much for my email and saying she would pass my regards on to Jo, one of the helpers who had taken us under her wing and who had promised to forward any official photos
I opened up my emails today and there was one from Jo
She was sooo nice that it brought tears to my eyes and promises to send the phots on of which I had never any doubt she would!!!
Anyway here just some photos. I didn't take any inside as I was far to overwhelmed but I have asked Dot to sned me a copy of hers

And if you want a long tour of London, and I mean a very long tour here is the link for the photos of Alan and Sarah's day

Re: Day out in London
They sure did do a lot Jacky
I was sooo happy to see Sarah and Alan have such a great day out
The way they went on you would never have guessed they were Stepdaughter and Stepfather
The goodies were just unbelievable!!!
I knew I didn't dare touch them until I had let you all see them
Feet up today though as I was rather silly yesterday
So my punishment is not be able to play
Never mind there is always tomorrow
I have done it again!!
I managed to zoom my screen up to 125% with my fat fingers

Re: Day out in London
But it is true!
I kid you not!
Can't even wear my watch never mind my rings!
And we are frightened to dye my hair for any length of time since the time it went green
I promise I am not putting myself down though Jen
Just having a laugh
Have always preffered to be behind the lens of a camera than in front
Even before I became a Zebra, puffer fish
Winding you up now
k
