Re: Glorious Thursday
Morning all The weather is great here at the moment so will be heading out to carry on with my patchwork outdoors. I've had a revival of motivation for hand sewing and so am finishing off bits of patchwork that I started a few years back.
Hope you all have a great day and hugs for everyone, especially the poorlies
Posting your card today Kayleigh, hope you hadn't given up on me hehe, but I wanted to wait until after the effect of the postal strike to make sure it didn't get lost.

Good morning Andrea, Janet & Jen.
It seems Kent is the only area not to have sun today, been raining on and off down here all morning. Still not kept the seagulls from ripping open the dustbin bags
Lovely goodies you've brought Andrea, the butterflies look really good.
Good luck with the MOT Janet.
On your patchwork Jen what are you making? It would be nice to see a pic. My first crafty project was patchwork which I did towards the end of primary school and really enjoyed doing it. Lovely to do it outside in the sun

Afternoon ladies
Was raining first thing but sun has been shining since about 10.30 and it is warming up again
Been to the joke centre, what a waste of time really think they could get me to send the info to them fortnightly or do it online by now, no changes etc tis just another inconvenience especially as they dont pay me any blooming money as such
Just finished 2nd lot of washing and waiting for 3rd lot to finish and then thats done
Not done any card making this week at all and getting itchy fingers so will have a bash this afternoon
Hope evryone is well and the poorlies are feeling better
Take care all and stay safe xXx

Re: Glorious Thursday
Afternoon everyone. Just got back from the hospital with Kayleigh. The fracture clinic consultant is not happy with her foot/heal so he is referring her to a paediatric consultant. I don't know how long we are going to have to wait but it looks like she is going to have to go back to school with her crutch (poor thing)
Hope everyone is OK and has a good day

Re: Glorious Thursday
Afternoon ladies. Been a tad busy today. Had the drain man out again as there was still water seeping up through patio slabs. Anyway it's not the drains thank goodness. He lifted the paving slab off the doorstep and it is full of rainwater. It must have been seeping doyn the back between the wall and the step and then had nowhere to go. Now just got to work out how to stop it happening and get rid of the water that's there!
Also had to make a sympathy card as I got an email this morning from a friend on another forum to say her 19 year old daughter had died. I can't begin to imagine how she is feeling. So very sad.
Sorry to hear Kayleigh's foot still not sorted - she must be getting so frustrated.
((((hugs)))) to Lou.
Come on Jen let's see the patchwork.
Hope everyone enjoys rest of the day.

Re: Glorious Thursday
Thanks Lou and Sue. Kayleigh is really disappointed as she had hoped to get back to normal so that she could do P.E and start her running again but the consultant has told her NO. He also told her to mobilise her foot but rest it
