Hope you dont think I am strange.

I wonder what you ladies think, I have a hall clock, my mum brought it for us the Christmas before she passed away, she passed away in December the next year, a week later the clock took to striking 12 all the time, so we turned the striker off, the quarter, half, and quarter to the hours starting going right off sequence, and it doesnt matter what we try they wont go back to normal, so we turned them of too, the big hand now is starting to fall of at various times, it hadnt done it for nearly a year now, but it fell of last night, ..... on my birthday...... now it has always been a joke between hubby and I, he has said, `its your mum calling`, I will say he had always got on well with mum, sooooooo....... what do you think, am I nuts or what. I dont think you are being silly, when i lost my mom and dad, strange things happened to me, the day before i buried my dad some earrings that he bought me for the xmas turned up on my bedroom floor and they had been missing for weeks, and sometimes i think someone is standing in the door way to the kitchen, one year on my birthday, when i came home from work the clock my side of the bed, was flashing on and off has if we had, had a power cut but none of the other clocks in the house were flashing and i always said it was them wishing me a happy birthday.

I dont think your being silly, its nice and comforting
to think that loved ones that have died are still
looking in on us from time to time

I also believe that they are still with us when they pass. Some strange things happened last year to my brother's partner. They had been together for 10 years but because they didn't marry she wasn't entitled to anything. His five children insisted that she had an equal share in everything. Anyway on his birthday she had a phone call to say that she had won £10,000. She was in a random draw as when she went into a draw on the tv she wasn't put in it (when there was a lot of fraud going on in tv comps). She swears he was looking down on her.

I too think they are watching over us, spooky isnt it

Two days after i buried my mom, we were in a motorway pile up and our car was a right off, my daughter decided not to come with us on this trip, if she had of come with us she would have been sitting the side we were hit, now was that just lucky or was that her nan looking out for her, we will never now.

Like the rest, I too have had experiences with both Mum and Dad
My sister used to freak out when they happened to her after Mum died and eventually asked me if I had any experiences
As I said to her......... Mum wouldn't have hurt you when she was alive so why would she hurt you when she is dead?
If you have any animals in the house watch them when these things happen they know when something is going on
Jimmy often follows and plays with somebody here and as for cats......... WOW!!!

dont think your strange at all, Mike said he was driving home from work one night going faster than he should really in snowy conditions and as he got near the brow of a hill heard me in his head telling him to slow down so he did and just past the brow a car had skidded in snow and was in a hedge and there was a police car there

In my view its nice to have these things happen and shows the bond you must have had with your mother and still have to this day.I have had funny things happen to me and do sense that there are people on the other side still looking out for us . One incident happened when me and my hubby were looking after our grandaughter when she was about two years old . I was settling her down aftershe had a little "paddy" through tiredness one night . My hubby was out in the backgarden, talking to the next door neibour. The baby alarm was switched on upstairs and down. I was sat in the lounge feeding" Ella" her bottle.I was just thinking how nice and quiet it was and a gentle voice came out of nowhere saying "Night ,night little thing"then it was repeated again! It freaked me !
