Morning...


another new week. Roll on Thursday, thats all I can say. Bella has just woke me chewing again. So I shouted quietly at Bella!! She just stands there wagging her tail but with her ears back knowing fine well what she has done. I cant shout properly as everyone is still in bed. As I was coming downstairs I heard music coming from the living room,but needed to sort Bella out first. Went into the room and whatever it was was singing away. Looked at Keiths phone, I think it was that - but cant tell whether its on or off!!! So I have had to get up early and I didnt have to - cant wait for them to go back. The other 2 are little angels, you dont know you have them.
Well dont know what the weather is like... Amy is back to school today - so will make her lunch in a minute.

Nice and dry today so thats good, nothing worse than starting a Monday with it raining hard.
Back to work for me today after a weeks holiday and a couple of sickie days before that so its a bit of a struggle, but I'm sure I'll have plently to go back into

Morning everyone, thank goodness the sun is shining here, yesterday was horrendous. Hope all the poorlies are feeling a bit better and that all the children went back to school bright and breezy this morning

Good morning ladies. Beautiful sunshine today - why couldn't it have been like this yesterday? We had planned on going for a walk but knocked that on the head with all that rain. Today all this lovely sun is doing is showing up the dust! Not much planned for today except dentist this afternoon.

Having a take it easy day today, don't think either of the kids are gonna make it back to school tomorrow..... emily was coughing most of the night and georgia looks like the living dead! So it looks like I will have company for the early part of the week

Sounds like Jan and Jen are having a bit of a time of it, sending you both massive hugs and hope you both perk up soon xxx

I have got alot of washing to do...... its my dad's birthday today and I just realised I have given him his card and forgot to take a piccy of it, am gutted as it was really good to! A4 in size with two of my dad's passions on it...... the Red Arrows, 5 layer decoupage, and keeping with the arrows theme.... some darts and a dart board! Oh blast! Maybe I can get round there tomorrow with my camera!

Oh Lou I am always doing that. Got a bit better at remembering to take a photo now but it is so annoying when you forget. I sent one to my neighbour a couple of months ago and kept meaning to ask for it back to photograph but forgot all about it until now Knowing her, she has probably kept it so there is still a chance Hugs to Georgia and Emily, hope they get rid of their coughs soon Hope the dentist goes ok Sue, and Jen & Jan - keep smiling I have had a headache for the last couple of hours - all the stress of sorting out the ATCs (only joking) think it's sinuses again and I am supposed to be going to badminton tonight so hope it's gone before then Have just ordered my windows for the dolls house on the internet so hopefully get them soon as they are sending them special courier due to the postal strike Have just had an email that they are on their way and I only ordered them at 1.30 today

Dentist was OK thanks Jacky - just had some impressions done for the crown he's fitting. Goodness knows what he thinks I've been doing though as when I looked in car mirror to get rid of some of the nasty blue gunky stuff he used I realised that I had a lot of glitter on my face

The kids are driving me potty...... cough, cough, cough, sniff, sneeze,
fart, fart again, sniff once more, get yelled at to blow their friggin noses,
fart again, huff and then get a bleedin tissue!!!!!!!

AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Righto, kids are in bed, hubby is at the pub celebrating MY
Dad's 65th Birthday (No, I never got an invite ) so that
means Ady can make his flippin card next year! The cheek of it....

So what can I get up to?

What to have for tea? Just checking in the fridge and we have some
butter in there...... there is a fresh pack of crumpets just yelling at
me!!!!



Gonna sign off for the evening....... gonna have me crumpets
and then watch Eastbenders, then I have just started a new
book so may get cracking with that! Blissful... peace and quiet!


Oh and its nearly CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Washcloth

This has to be read, laughed at and passed on.
There is not a woman alive today who won't crack up over this!

I was due for an appointment with the gynecologist later in the week. Early one morning, I received a call from the doctor's office to tell me that I had been rescheduled for that morning at 9:30 am. I had only just packed everyone off to work and school, and it was already around 8:45 AM..


The trip to his office took about 35 minutes, so I didn't have any time to spare. As most women do, I like to take a little extra effort over hygiene when making such visits, but this time I wasn't going to be able to make the full effort.


So, I rushed upstairs, threw off my pajamas, wet the washcloth that was sitting next to the sink, and gave myself a quick wash in that area to make sure I was at least presentable. I threw the washcloth in the clothes basket, donned some clothes, hopped in the car and raced to my appointment.

I was in the waiting room for only a few minutes when I was called in. Knowing the procedure, as I'm sure you do, I undressed, hopped up on the table, looked over at the other side of the room and pretended that I was in Paris or some other place a million miles away.

I was a little surprised when the doctor said, 'My, we have made an extra effort this morning, haven't we?'

I didn't respond. After the appointment, I heaved a sigh of relief and went home... The rest of the day was normal ... Some shopping, cleaning, cooking. After school when my 6 year old daughter was playing, she called out from the bathroom, 'Mommy, where's my washcloth?'

I told her to get another one from the cupboard.

She replied, 'No, I need the one that was here by the sink, it had all my glitter and sparkles saved inside it.'

Never going back to that doctor. Ever.

Thank goodness it was just my face!!!
