Good morning everyone , I 've been suffering with my sinus and felt grotty all day yesturday , and have woken with a yucky head so I've taken paracetamol had a cuppa and its lifting now so I thought I'd be first on today !
Karen hope your mum is brigher when you next see her .
Lou hope you are feeling a bit more comfortable .
Juli have a good time with your neice , hope the toothsche has settled down.
Jacky glad you found the source of your headache .

Good morning Lexie, Jan and all who follow - feel like death warmed up this morning (what am I talking about I feel cold too ) a cold developed yesterday, slept sitting up last night so that I could breathe That's what cleaning does for you ladies - you have been warned Can't believe I felt so energetic yesterday morning, did a bit of pilates, cleaned the house more than usual and then from lunchtime onwards went steadily downhill. Going to catch up on some tv this morning and wallow in my pity

I try not to use it often but when I had a really bad headache with it paracetemol doesn't do anything. One quick spray and you can feel it clearing in minutes

He hasnt gone to school but he better not think he is going to make a miraculous recovery later and go out to his cousins this evening because he is in for a rude awakening

Hello...

We had snow yesterday and it settled... still around this morning, but fortunately we havent had anymore.
Off to the hospital this afternoon - Mum is having her MRI today. Hoping we may get some answers.
Keith has gone off for his Physio... he forgot all about it.
Just done a bit of bathroom cleaning... Amy had a bath last night and used one of her bathbombs from Lush that she had for christmas. It was a christmas pudding one... you can imagine the colour of the water!!
Its all very well having this Lush stuff, but it is very messy. She also has a moisturising bar which is very glittery... and it gets EVERYWHERE!!!!
Hope all is well with everyone, I try and keep up with posts but you lot chat so much!

Bit like the parcel Mike sent over, had to send me some more tablets and thick tights and think the padded envelope must have been from one of my crafty pressies because everything inside the package was covered with glitter

Karen , I know exactly what you mean about Lush stuff .... it takes several serious cleans to get all the glitter and flakey bits to completly go ! Christmas time Mick said to Dulcie I'll get in your water , he freaked out when he eventually got in , smelt like a choccy bar and then covered in glitter ! not a good look for a 64 year old man , I had said you won't want to get into her water !!!!

Jacky , Iam always suffering with Sinus trouble , dr said I have a immature nasal lining ! and years ago when I was flying got addicted to Sinex and its shot to peices my lining of my nose , but am on anti biotics ( again ) and they have'nt don e a thing yet . I use octravine , but Iam being a wuss at moment and am sick of this headache .....
Iam feeling really grumpy and out of sorts ......
got my friends mum comming for supper tonight , and my other pal who is alone , my friend is in Cambodia and I said I'd keep an eye on Babs who is 83 and amazing.Cottage pie and trifle , comfort food , and we are eating fairly early so I'll hopefully have a early night , did'nt ge back to sleep properly ....so tired and grumpy not a good combo !have a good day everyone xx

Jacky i have worked harder since i have been at home, perhaps that is why i have come down with this cold, i should have stayed at work, i didnt work as hard then ha ha.

Karen hope your moms results are good, and Jan hope Jayne is improving as well, i think we all need putting in a bag and shakeing up or raffeling off.

its gone really dark and dismal here at the mo, and its cold and wet was hoping to go out for a bit but dont think i will bother

Karen , I doubt if you have had any answers yet bu hope when you do they are all favorable . Dinner went down well , like help the aged here , especially as Micky is 65 next week ! Mick just running Babs hope , sent her off with the rest of the cottage pie , and in return she gave me a box of after eights ...win win to me !!!

Well I didnt expect results today. Mum has had the scan and apparently been to Gatwick Airport!!
Still very confused, but a lot brighter today. Dont know where some of mums stuff is going, but so far 'we' have lost a bath towel, orange juice, soap, knickers to name a few items. But she has gained some mens shower gel and a gents comb I am beginning to wonder what is going on in there!!!

Sounds like someone is having a good time , may be another confused gent wearing your mum's knickers !!!!! Sure it will all turn up , I don't know what happans in hospitals , as if you have got loads of time o be running around after 'lost ' items ! shame Karen , keep your pecker up ! big hug to you xx

Do hope not Lexie... doesnt bear thinking about!!! Mind you, the gents bay IS right next door! Dont think there is much chance of a baby brother/sister now though

Must be a theme this week
My sister smashed up her ankle up earlier on this week and all she kept complaining about when they took her into hospital in the ambulance was that she had her old tatty pair of knickers on, that and the fact that she hadn't shaved her legs
Knowing my sister there was probably nothing wrong with them
Still I suppose it kept her mind off her ankle

I can completely understand how she thought she was at an airport
I hate scans and have another one coming up next Friday
