Morning...

Another foggy morning, but not as cold out.
Blue bin has been emptied at long last - we havent had it emptied since beginning of December.
Went down to Mum's this morning and she had a really good night, didnt wake until 5.00 this morning, she went downstairs ... Dawn told her the time and Mum went back to bed and was still there when Dawn left at 7.00!
Have left Mum knitting, think she is enjoying it.
Not sure what we are doing to day. Sure it will involve eating!!! At least the turkey has all gone.

Good morning Karen, so glad your Mum has had a good night. I had one too, went to bed earlier than usual and didn't wake until Martin brought a cup of tea up at 9.00 am I did wake up about 1.00am and couldnt get back to sleep as a bit bunged up, so propped myself up on my V pillow and slept sitting up all night

We have hardly eaten in our house since Boxing Day, will have to throw half of a turkey crown away, what a waste. I should have sliced it straight away and put it in the freezer as Jane does but kept thinking we might use it the next day. We had pasta last night to try to give Sally some energy, she has lost 10 lbs. and she hasn't got any extra weight to lose. She didn't eat much of it but at least she got something inside her. She asked for her Caramel bar out of her selection box we bought her and I was amazed it hadn't been opened. Usually it is all gone by Boxing Day - she must have felt really bad Now I know she is getting better She has got her laptop and is now busy working downstairs but still coughing well.

Hello all , well we have had a lovely day , our friends came for lunch ( home made Turkey soup! ) Cheese french bread etc then we all eventually went to the Panto Craig Revel Horwood was the wicked witch in snow white , it was a real laugh and Craig was a maz ing dar ling ! plan was to go back to Carol and Johns but Carol is going down with the lergy so we declined!Poor thing John was poorly on boxing day and has passed it on to her just hope we don't get it ! Every where you go some one is not well !Hope everyone is ok .Speak soon xx
