Lovely and sunny here today. Think I might cut the grass later on, shouldnt need many more cuts. The forecasters have said its going to get warmer over the next few days

Just a stroll up the village to collect tablets, a book from the library and my Thursday treat... dont know what it will be today - I always have one when Mum has her sitter in - it makes me feel 'treated'

Beautiful and sunny here this morning - makes you want to do things I have to go shopping today, put it off yesterday. Martin phoned when he got to work to tell me that they are doing the road down the main Frimley High Street - they are also starting doing the gas pipes outside Frimley Park Hospital just down the road from us. I can't believe they have scheduled it to both start at the same time There is no way I can avoid road works to get to the shops and if it is visiting times or change of shift at the hospital, which is the same times the schools (5 of them) all come out - it will be a nightmare from 3.00 onwards. I had better get going then Enjoy your day whatever you are doing, hugs to any poorlies. Hope Lou's knees are feeling better.

Got the builder in replacing the front door and window with a nice shiny new upvc one!!!! Gonna look fab and looking forward to a winter with no leaky sweeling door that jams and I have to dislocate my shoulder wrenching it open and no more soggy carpet in the entrance hall!!! Luckily the weather is good here so far today although the bright sunshine of early this morning has disappeared and its a bit dull at least it is dry.

Knees are still atrocious, but maybe a day of dry weather will help, I am hoping so or I am gonna go crazy!! LOL... OK CRAZIER...... happy now!

Karen... Jacky is right, you have to take something for yourself hun or else you'll go doolally!

Jacky isn't that always the way... a mate of mine who lives in Glossop has had men resurfacing the road outside their home for a few nights now and they work till 11.30pm most nights.... now THAT is out of order.....

Bloomin heck.... the bloke is having problems with the door frame!!!! Ady was talking to him at lunchtime and he was saying he didn't know how he was gonna sort it... I said to Ady... I don't care if he's here till bl**dy midnight he's gotta leave the house secure, I aint sleeping on the sofa!!!! If anyone broke in Rolo would slather em to death!!!

Also I see men outside doing my disabled space, that was jolly quick, I only got the letter a couple of weeks ago saying it had been approved but saying it would take up to 3 months!! Well done to the Highways Agency x

Wow Lou, things are really happening for you. Hope they get the door sorted. That makes me laugh as 30 years ago my brother fitted our patio doors for us - he worked for the people who made them. He lived in Cheltenham so he brought the family with him - wife and 3 children at the time - so that they could stay overnight. Well he got going as soon as he arrived and took the old wooden doors out complete with the frame - put the new wooden frame in the brickwork and then came in saying "Right - I can't do any more now". His wife exploded saying "you can't leave it like that overnight - how are you going to secure it" so he said he would put a piece of rope across with a sign saying DO NOT ENTER. We all knew he was joking - he had always been a joker - but she believed him and he played along for ages with us all giggling. He just meant he had to wait for Martin to come home from work to help lift the doors. Well she was born 1st April and every year he played a joke on her She had absolutely no sense of humour. Thank goodness he had 10 happy years with Jo, before he died, who had exactly the same sense of humour as him.

Hope your knees soon get better, the weather is supposed to be improving I came back from shopping with a raging headache, which has gone now

Finally stayed in the craft room for a couple of hours rather tahn the customary 5 minutes - must go back soon and tidy up, it looks like a bomb has hit it. The creative bug arrived and I've been working hard. The fact I have a class at the end of the month helped and I've now made all my 'elegant ladies' samples (they're over in the gallery)

Evening everyone , well went to fat club tonight and I lost the 3 1/2lbs I [ut because of the steroids so I am happy , I did'nt go last week because I would of been soo disheartened if I had'nt lost any , so I am fully back on track again ! Been at work today . got mega changes in the shop , all the stock is being moved around , Rebecca is the new shop mangeresss , and Kati who has been mangeress for years is now ' Operation and Events Manager ' , I, had a little giggle to myself we are talking about one shop in a little village not flippin mircrosoft !So everyone is out to prove they have the right job , I was glad to leave to night !Off now until monday , and only working 2 days next week Sarah is back from sick leave , well back for a couple days aweek !

Im doing well thanks Lexie the weight is slow coming off at the moment but ive not put any on. The areobics is brill and i go twice a week and i feel good in myself too
