Well I was feeling all sunny and happy till I read yesterdays posts by Jan about that 'good for nowt' idiot and the way he has treated Carrie. Hope you are a bit calmer today hun, poor girl...how dare he? I am so sorry he has put her thru this after all that she and you have done to help...... god... how ungrateful x Big hugs to you both x Hope today is a bit calmer x Hope also your BP wasn't up too much at your diabetic check up xxx

I am off out this morning with my friend Lena, the one I was worried about all over Christmas..... she is OK now, she went to the docs in the end and is now on antidepressants and is coping much better.

I saw the surgeon yesterday, was 1 hour late (he was, not me) and then he only saw me for 5 mins, pulled my leg up till I screeched and said he was gonna take the disc out as an urgent case.... admissions are going to get back to me asap with a date for the prop assessment and the op. God knows how long it will be.... he has annual leave booked apparently....

Hope everyone else is OK.

Nurse took pity on me and didnt do anything yesterday after I told her what has happened, she said the stress might give a false reading so she is leaving me alone until June/July time
Not much calmer today Lou things got worse last night, once Carrie is away from there he is going to realise what the wrath of Jan feels like, if it does no good then so be it but will maike me feel a whole heap better

Glad the nurse was understanding. I have my 6 monthly check up in April and am dreading my HBA1C as they have put me on steroids for the arthritis now and my blood sugar readings have risen a bit. Shame as I am always so well behaved and my last score was 5.8 which is gold star for effort my doc says! Hope it doesn't affect it too much.

As for getting things off your chest Jan, good for you. He needs to get slapped back into reality if you ask me......

Jan, I am sooo angry after all you have done to help. I just can't believe he is treating you like this Still havent been shopping yet, late shower and breakfast so off out in a minute

Oh Jan it will be good to have Carrie back with you, she from what I remember was a very strong girl, it is a great shame that she wont be there for Dean now, but children grow and make there own minds up when they are older.So heres hoping he will take his strength from his mother and aunt. sending you warm hugs me dear.

Well I am back from my session of Cappacino's and putting the world to right, plus a 'get your grumbles off your chest' session!!!

The good thing about meeting up with someone in a similar situation is you know you can be honest and they know you are not wingeing! She does the same, we are a good support network for each other!

Feel much better now.

I would love to be able to go see Jen but as we are not taking a car of our own I expect we will have to pretty much go where my dad and sis will drive us!

Oh I love Devon, mind you I just slightly prefered the more craggy coastline down further in Cornwall... the rock pools were better! Talland Bay is amazing.....

Hello everyone , sorry have'nt beenin touch for a while , you know what its like when your on holiday , been busy , last few days now and really not looking forward to comming home , we have had a great time , and the eather hasbeen glorious very hot , Micky and I spent alot of time on beach .Had scrapping today which ws great , done a fewpages while I've been away !
Just had a email from Rupert, he's got a interview for Liverpool Uni on 21st April , thats his first choice so fingers crossed ! Lets hope they offer him a place and of course he gets the grades !!!! Dulcie tells me he is working hard ..... now how much di he bribe her to say that ah ?????
Once you get your back done you won't believe the didderence Lou , mine made such a differance to my life , Iwalked with a limp on constant painkillers and was very depressed about the pain and lack of mobility but now its great ! sorry to hear yo got problems Jan , chin up girl ! keep well every one love to you all lexie x
