Rained really hard here overnight and we thought the snow would be gone but its not sadly
I am working 5 days a week now to try and catch up at work what I have missed not even day 2 and I am shattered lol

Good morning Jan, Janet and all who follow - horrible rainy day here this morning and we have got our walk. Have debated whether to go or not but have decided to put on a brave face and don the wet weather gear Wish I still had my long trench coat which I used to wear when watching Sally ride in all weathers, that covered everything. Ordered my tickets yesterday for the Farnborough show Looking forward to it now. Really have to get on with these cards when I come home after lunch. Hope things continue to improve for Jayne, Jan don't overwork yourself you have enough on your plate, Janet have a good day. Hugs to all the poorlies. Jen should be back on here sometime today too

Mine almost did and I had wellie boots too so was well covered - didnt care what I looked like I can't believe I threw it out, unless of course, Sally has had it away for her horseriding

Good morning ladies. It's dull and wet here today. The house is quiet as I only have 2 of my 3 here. Michaela went to Wales yesterday for the week on a "Talented and gifted residential course" to a place called Aberglaslyn Hall near Snowdonia. She became really nervous just before she went and was begging me not to send her but I managed to persuade her that she would have a great time and would regret it if she didn't go. She was told she could phone whenever she wanted but all I;ve had so far was a text saying she'd had a yummy roast chicken dinner last night..

Know how you feel, when our son went away on a sailing course he wanted to come home after two days, but we made him stick it out and by the end of the week he didnt want to come home then you miss them more than they miss you

Had a good walk and took my umbrella with me as I just don't like hats or hoods, they make me so hot. Rain was pouring down when we got there but by the time we set off it had moreorless stopped - very very muddy though Meal at the pub was really good though afterwards Glad you persuaded Michaela to go on her course Frances, I am sure she will be enjoying it now she is there Glad to see Jane back again but a bit disappointed that you didnt manage to hide the sun away in your bags

I am so pleased your daughter went Frances. It seems you have a rather talented child there and they need a LOT of extra attention and time. My younger son was of that ilk and it was so hard trying to keep his mind busy all the time, very draining

Glad you went for your walk Jacky would have made you feel better after your news yesterday. Nothing like a good bracing walk to blow away the cobwebs. I really miss that and I am almost sure that is why Alan has put on so much weight as I used to drag the poor man out every weekend

Take it from us, we both know what we are talking about and try the TENS it does sometimes work and can give so much relief and freedom of movement

I have had the opposite and it was not a nice experience at all

Home help was in today as I have my dreaded scan on Friday Patch day and walking not good at all and pain at its max so she gave me a right telling off for not using it
Bless her, she is such a darling, but I would have felt so self-conscious using it in front of her

Can I pick everyone's brains please?
I ordered the punches from QVC and they have not arrived yet even though they said they were shipped not long after I ordered them
Also I ordered some Dufex from Crackajack and they are not here yet either
I got an email from them saying they were behind because of the demand but when my home help rung the bell on the back gate today it was not working and most deliveries here do come to the back gate so I am worried in case they have all been returned as not delivered
Just wondering if anyone else has had deliveries from these companies
Will give it until tomorrow and then make enquiries

I really must take the time to clear it out, thank God it has a search facility
My Crackajack order was sent out Saturday so might be ok
The QVC punches were shipped on the 11th so I could be fine there too

Thanks ladies id forgot ive got a tens machine which i used when my back went before now where did i put it I will most certainly refrain from the hoovering has ive got a posh do to go to soon and then New york . I want to be fit for both
