I'm back

Morning all.

I had a lovely week away even if the weather was mizzling (do other people use this word?? a mix up of mist and drizzle) for most of it. Did loads of walking and loads of eating and drinking which unfortunately outweighed the benefits of the walking as I put on 3lbs.

My nephew who is nearly 2 couldn't manage to say 'Aunty Anne' so I was E-Anne for the week Close enough for me! I don't get to see him that often as my sister lives 250 miles away in N. Yorkshire.

Back to the grindstone today (I hate to say it but I did actually miss 'work' while I was away).

I'd better change my signature....

Welcome back Anne. Glad you enjoyed your break in spite of the mizzle. I'm sure you'll soon shift those extra pounds now you're back to your old routine. START TODAY and try not to eat too many cakes from next door this week!

I'm away next Saturday for a week and in a place where there are not many healthy food options so being really good this week! Hopefully there won't be too much damage done.

I have never heard of the word mizzling
But the conditions sound were like what we in Scotland would call 'driech' pronounced 'dreek' with the usual Scottish dragging out of the ch
I used to love hill walking
I always felt so refreshed after it
