Back from the NEC
Hi folks
Got back from the NEC craft show late this afternoon after spending 2 days up there.
It was my first time @ the NEC & all i can say was WOW it was brilliant, can't wait to go next year & i have already found the dates out
I bought loads but i knew i would but i am glad i went for the 2 days. Took a while to get home today & rather tired but then i expected that as i hit the Monday traffic & talk about lorries on the road there were hundreds.
Anyway i have now taken a pic of the stuff i have bought but too late to post tonight as i haven't downloaded the camera yet but i will do tomorrow all being well.
I didn't think much of the 'Crafts at Christmas' lucky i left that to the Sunday as i went round it within about 1/2 hour but the main Hobbycraft section was what i went for and talk about being packed haven't a clue how many people were there but over 150 stalls i think - can't rem got the book somewhere!! - and it was rare seeing a stall that didn't have people standing to purchase stuff. One stall i queued for about 5 mins to get served it was so busy.
I had good digs as well -only 5 mins drive (well by the time you got in & out of the NEC) away and they were lovely, clean, comfortable & well couldn't fault it at all. Already provisionally booked for next year.
Catch you later i am off to recover now but although on hol this week i have arranged so much to meet up with friends & ...........yep craft shopping...........well only 3 shops and there is a Christmas fayre on in Bournemouth this weekend that i am going to try & get to.
Bye for now
Christine xx

Re: Back from the NEC
May see you there then - I'll try to stay with my friend in Shifnal and catch the train in!
Credit card feeling light...
I had great fun at the NEC on Sunday to...
You know they do it again in March (just enough time to recover from Christmas...)
Will try and take my students like I did last year.
They will be the ones in the black suits and stripy...
