Well , I've given myself a good talking to and I need to lose 4 stone but Iam going to do it surs e slowly... so not calling it a diet but heathly eating , wine only at weekends and cutting out all the crap , we ate out alot on holiday and I put about 1/2 stone on and Iam already far to heavy so Iam going to try and do it.This is day 3 and Iam feeling positive .... x Very Happy

Good luck with the diet Lexie Smile

I'm doing the Zoe Harcombe lifestyle eating and have lost 1.5 stones since Sept and Pete has lost almost 4st in the same time. I have another 1.5 st to lose and hope to get it all off before the end of the year, was going to aim for June but I seem to be sticking at the moment. Up until 4 weeks ago I was losing 1lb a week, then I stuck, guess I need to kick start it with a week of detox again as I definitely haven't reached my ideal weight Smile We have found it easy to stick to as its more of a lifestyle change than a diet, but we have to admit to having at least one treat on Thurs and Sunday is a diet free day Smile

Hugs and positive vibes to help you through the worst part .... the beginning few weeks Smile

We Lost it a bi on sunday , wine and chocolate but back on schedule again now as you say lessof a diet more of a life style change !!! and Iam trying to walk a bit more now as I defnetly need more exercise ! ,,,,,,, bounce ha ha xx

Well done Jen. I tried that diet once (the detox anyway) and found it very successful. My eating plan now is very similar. It helps that I like lots of veggies, fruit and brown rice!

I'm at Slimming World and it suits me as it is an eating plan for life rather than a diet. I had a week without wheat last week and even though I had pork crackling with the roast and 2 flakes and 1/2 a chocolate egg I still lost 2lbs which is heaps better than my usual 1/2 - 1lb a week then 2 weeks with no loss. Think I may have a slight intolerance to wheat. Going to try another week to check it wasn't a fluke!

How's the diet working out Lexie ?

I've found out that I'm intolerant to wheat - not gluten just the wheat part of it, and boy does it cause problems when eating out!! But, I have to try and stick to a wheat free eating regime for a few months, 6 if I can manage it to clear the intolerance then hopefully I will be able to restart slowly. Going wheat free does help with the weight loss part though he he.

Hi jen nice to see you back again , it was like a ghost town on here last week , not many of us abou , I've not been abou over the weekend , but Dulcie back at school now so 'puter all mine . Dulcie is coeliac so I know how you feel , although she is eaing a little bit of wheat now she is on a trial , with some medication and have to say has made life much easier but still has odd flare ups !
Me I AM VERY pleased to say have lost well over 1/2 a stone so only 3 1/2 to go ! and I 've got my bike sorted so I'll start riding it again soon ..... I fall off pretty often and it kills me round here all the hills but hey I'll be getting fit !!! Very Happy

New Quay, Wales this time then Abergele near Conway in May, you just have to love those Sun short break holidays for £38 for 4 people for 4 days he he Smile I'm hoping the weather is kinder to us here than it was in Brixham but taking all the waterproof clothes too just in case he he

enjoy ....and no flying or horredous delays ! Iam still battling it out with Virgin about our change of flight time that ended us with us out of pocket ! I won't give in and take any ol flannel they try and give me ! Very Happy

Well IAM really really pleased , have lost a tad under a stone now , and to be honest its not been tooo difficult, so only 3 stone to go , defnetly doing a bit more exercise has helped ....and saved me a bit money wise , as Iam trying to walk locally so no car park fees , and best of all saving petrol ! Still have'nt ridden my bike but hopefully will do very soon !
