Guess what... its Tuesday!!

Morning!!!

Cloudy this morning, rain has been forecast - dont know whether or not to do some washing... after all what do the forecasters know!
Had a bit of a stressful afternoon yesterday - had a phonecall to say Mum was wandering around some houses down the road from us. Went to find her... fortunately someone had took her in, she didnt know them - this is such a worry. I have notices all over reminding her of things... and a big one on the back door to remind her not to go out alone.
She is supposed to be having a sitter today, but when I phoned up they didnt know anything about it... and my Social Worker is on holiday. Will have to see if anyone turns up!
Amy had a good time yesterday at the cinema.

Morning everyone , oh Karen what a worry for you , sounds like some days are better than others , sending you a hug.Iam at the office today ,only till lunch time then going home to tackle the ironing got a huge pile which I have let build up ! Have got to pop an see Rupe his car is a bit poorly at moment and have a load of forms from student finance for him to sign !If I don't take them noowt will be done ! I KNOW WHAT HE'S LIKE ! Good morning all, having a lovely morning Martin brought me up a cup of tea and presents in bed and all the lovely cards that have been sitting on my sideboard for weeks. Thanks you all so much. Off tonight to the Italian Restaurant for a meal

Needless to say the sitter didnt turn up... quite annoyed as Mum could have gone to see her friend for the day, but had to put her off. (my point is, its taken almost 6 months to get this organised, I dont want to lose it)
Tomorrow someone is coming to see mum over another day at the Day Centre, fingers crossed he turns up!
Will certainly give the Social worker a call when she gets back next week.

Pleased I got my washing dry... sun is shining lovely now. Did have 5 spots of rain and that was it... that happened when I cut the grass!

Been Black on and off here all day , really need some rain , air is very heavy and warm !
Shame Karen they are messing you about ... well whats new they mess everyone about ! We are still no wiser re Dulcie , even she is a bit anxious now !!

That's really good news Jan Maybe she will keep putting it off How annoying Karen, they don't seem to realise how it affects people when things don't run smoothly, and to put poor Dulcie through it too Lexie, that is an awful thing to do to a child who is bound to feel confused anyway

Just got back from the Italian restaurant - bit tipsy (not like me as I don't usually drink, I am the driver) but had a really good time. Sally came in and presented me with a lovely gift bag and said it was another present (bearing in mind she had already taken me out for tea as a present) and when I looked in the bag there was a takeaway container with something in it. She had made me a gooseberry crumble When I was at her house on Saturday she showed me all the fruit in her garden and I commented that I love gooseberries but Martin hates them so I never get them - I used to eat them on my dad's allotments - and I love gooseberry crumble. What a star she is That's my pud for tomorrow now
