Give Karen a hug Thursday!
Morning all from a very wet, cold and yukky Bognor!!!
Read thru from yesterday and seems that Karen was very quiet and just put on she had a real bad day....
so am starting off todays thread with a massive hug for ya babes xxx
((((((((((((((KAREN)))))))))))))))) and of course any of you that needs one can have one too!
Had my retiinal scan yesterday and was texting to peeps without being able to read their texts or the text I was sending back! My eyeballs were hoooooge till ten o'clock last night and I had the flaming drops at 1.30pm! Couldn't watch tv, read or nuffin.... very boring afternoon!!!!
Anyhow, hope all are ok, if you have pants weather stay inside and craft.
Hope you all especially Karen, have a good day today x

Re: Give Karen a hug Thursday!
Good morning Lou and all who follow Yukky weather here this morning I am off out at lunchtime for a pub lunch with my friends - don't know which pub only that I am being picked up and taken. Don't even know who is coming apart from 2
I agree Lou, Karen needs big (((((HUGS))))) just not like her to be down. Hope things are better today for her. Lexie, sounds like you had a good day at Eastbourne. I didn't get any inspiration at all I'm afraid. I have trouble with square cards as I only have the 5 x 5 ones and if I did a bigger one I wouldn't have an envelope to fit it. How does other people manage. I am no good making my own envelopes, I have even got a board for making them but they never seem to work out right
Lou it was a boring night on tv, football and then Martin played catch up as he missed the second episode of the new series which has started but I'm not really interested in about living on another planet
Enjoy your day all

Re: Give Karen a hug Thursday!
Morning Lou, Jacky and all who follow. It's that horrible fine drizzle here today so I'm staying in until I have to collect the kids from school. Last night I had to have the emergency council plumber out because the radiator at the top of the stairs had sprung a leak and all the water was coming through my kitchen ceiling . All he could do was cap the pipes and I now have to wait for them to order a new one.
I've still got to make my cards but at least I have an idea of what I can do for some of them
(((HUGS))) to anyone who needs them
Have a good day whatever you are doing

Afternoon ladies - nearly straight now just need to put spice rack back up when pantry door is dry, clean worktop that is full of spice jars and wash the floor! I've even managed to make a valentine card in between! Will put piccie on when glue is dry. Think I'll try for a restful week next week!
Jacky - make it a rectangle - doesn't have to be a square card as long it has the basic elements.

Re: Give Karen a hug Thursday!
THANK YOU SO SO MUCH XXXX
The past few days have been very difficult... not sure whether its because Mum is low or, (and I do realise) she is getting worse. Last night she had a sitter and only got up twice for the loo... so she did have a reasonable night.
A friend of hers helps to run the Forget me not club, and Mum is going to that tomorrow. It is for 3 hours and they do lots of things.... I can go as well, but dont want to go yet.
I get so frustrated, I cry every day - I just want my lovely mum back, but I know that isnt going to happen. Keith and Amy really are a great support
This morning I had to take Mum up to the Drs for a blood test, so will have a good chat with the Dr next week when the results are through.
Thank you again, your support is much appreciated xx

Re: Give Karen a hug Thursday!
Good afternoon all, had a lovely lunch thank you and I did know them all There was five of us altogether, we all worked in the shop together at one point, and it was lovely catching up on all their gossip.
Juli, have a great time - Monaco is lovely, we visited there last year for the day. Karen wish I lived nearer to you and could give you a big hug but can only do cyber ones.
My goodness Sue, you have been so busy, glad you are getting it all sorted, you deserve the rest. Thanks for the tip, I will do it as a rectangle then Frances, water everywhere - yuk. At least you were good enough to phone them to get it sorted. When we were in Australia and rented our cottage out to the RAF the Officer who rented it reported a leak in the boiler cupboard but didnt put anything under it so there was water everywhere by the time the plumber came out the next day Luckily it wasn't gushing out.
