Morning all.

Well, don't know whats happened to the heatwave! I have just looked at the weather forecast, and suddenly our day of heat today is going to happen tomorrow, and today is going to be rain and thunder! so not sure what is going to happen to my day at the coast yet. Don't fancy going if the weather is bad.
lol oh I do like a good moan first thing in the morning lol, I have no one here to moan to so sorry but you catch the lot lol

its a beautiful day here we have the race for life at the end of the road this morning and I have been watching them all stream up to the start, its lovely to see

Scorching day here today so just relaxing with my book on site. Hope you got away Marion but don't worry about moaning, we all do it..

Another stormy day for us today - watching the weather forecast, which is repeated constantly! They give temps throughout the day, the possibility of rain etc. They even have camera's showing areas that have rain!
Think we are off to SeaWorld today... love all kind of sealife, especially dolphins!

Afternoon ladies. Been very hot and sunny here so made the most of it sitting in the garden telling Roy what to prune!!! He must have enjoyed it as he said it was almost a perfect afternoon! It was too hot for me to do any work other than make him cups of tea.

Hope you got to the coast Marion. Karen enjoy Seaworld and Jacky sitting reading a book sounds perfect.

Afternoon everyone. It's been boiling here today, I've tried to cut some of the hedge but the sun was in my eyes so I couldn't see. Kayleigh had a fun weekend at camp although she is exhausted.

Well we got the heatwave after all.
We got half way to the coast and the weather changed, and talk about hot. The sun was out and it was brilliant.
I didn't think it was going to be that warm, so had put trousers on, and guess who Hannah wanted to take her for a paddle in the sea? yup. her Gran. So I took her and you have to imagine this, me with my trousers rolled up to my knees, and Hannah wanting to go in to nearly her waist! no good me rolling my trousers up as I still got soaked. But it was all good fun and I felt like a child again for a little while.
Jake made friends with 3 boys that were with their parents on the sand near to us so he was happy.
Got back home, and the sun has been out here all day and very hot.
My barometer/thermometer is in the hall, the coolest place in the house and its on 26 degrees!
I have so enjoyed today, it reminded me so much of when John and I used to go to the coast, we both loved it there.

So glad you had a good time Marion - bet the children enjoyed having you there too. Glad Kayleigh had fun too Frances. I agree with you Sue, too hot for gardening.
