Good morning ladies.

The sun is out here and looks like it just might be another day like yesterday. It said we were going to get rain all over the week end but so far, touch wood, we have had sun.
My daughter and son in law finished the back garden yesterday, and although its very minimal it looks so lovely and tidy. He is going the shingle the front garden next month, as its not very big and a bit of a pain in the backside.

I was going to have a nice lay in this morning, instead I woke at 3am and then 5am, so I thought blow it and got up. Am now off to get showered and wake myself up properly.

Hope you all have a good day

Good morning Marion and all who follow - sunny here too this morning. Watching the Grand Price at the moment but will be going up to the craft room today to finish off the card I started for Ian & Ruth's anniversary.

Glad you are pleased with your garden now Marion, it does look better when you give it a tidy up. Mine looks so much better now too, got rid of all the dead bits, cut back the bushes and pulled up a great mass of weeds.

Enjoy your day.

Morning ladies...

Thats what I shall be doing this afternoon, well, cutting the grass at least. And also if I can stay awake. I went to the loo at 5.00 this morning, and Daisy must have heard me and started to bark... came down and let her out - knew I wouldnt go back to sleep so have been watching a couple of programmes I had taped. First night out of Daisy's pen last night, thought she might try and get in Baileys bed... Bailey would soon tell her no!!
Got lunch to prepare, we have chicken this week... forgot we had Turkey last Sunday!
One good thing about getting up early... I am so organised! well the washing is out, so its a start!
Take care and enjoy your day x

Morning ladies. I'm going to join you Karen - in cutting the grass that is!! Ir is very overdue but because it faces north doesn't dry out very easily and the mower can't cope with it wet! i should have done when we ha dthe dry spell but kept putting it off because I didn't feel up to it and a certain person kept saying he would do it! I should know better - he's full of good intentions that don't materialise! He was supposed to be coming down this morning to do some tidying up in the garden but he had an email from friends in France saying they were over this week so now he's baking a cake for when they visit and making sheherd's pie for his dinners during the week - so no time to do my garden Sad
Spent yesterday afternoon sorting out my craft room and now have a pile of stuff to put on ebay, a box of stuff for when grandsons visit and get bored - they like putting stickers on pieces of paper and a big bag to throw. Still got some more to go through as I was beginning to take over the spare bedroom as well.
Time for a coffee now though I think.

Well I have finished Ian & Ruths card and luckily cleared it all off the dining table and they just turned up to bring back the carpet shampooer and vacuum cleaner Ian borrowed yesterday Shocked Thought we may have to go and get it back at some point so knowing them Laughing I have 2 more cards to do for this month and then 6 to do for next month. Want to get them done early in case the weather is good and we get out and about now that Martin has retired.
