Good morning Moo'ers,

I hope you all had a good weekend and for thoose going back to work after hoildays it's only five days until the weekend Smile

We had a quiet Sunday, Alan spent most of the day sorting out my web site, I have loads of my card pics that need to go on it and I'm going to try and write some kind of blog, I would like to do one everyday but I know that will not happen.

I brought a load of 3D stacker sheets with Christmas themes so I will spend most of today cut and putting them together, then tomorrow I will be trying to make them into Crimbo cards.

Will any of you be going to the big stamp show at Alxeandra Palce in September, if so we could arrange a meet of some sort.

Well I hope you have a happy productive day.

xx

Morning ladies Smile Yes its definitely a wet one Sad I applaud all you ladies who are dilligently working on Christmas cards, I've made 7 and am bored silly with them for a while so have put all the Chrimbo bits away for now he he.

Tash and I are going to be playing with reverse imaging today. For some reason I can't get the bleach method to work on the cardstock I have so we have been experimenting with different ways of getting a similar effect. There may be some cards in my photobucket later on he he Smile I'm also going to have a play with a different shaped card which a friend has sent me the instructions for ... watch this space he he Smile

Hope its not too bad going back to work today for those returning after their holiday.

Hugs to all who need positive vibes Smile

Hi Jenny and Janet,

I have seen the bleach method done but have never tried it my self, a friend of mine is and artist, she does watercolour painting and uses salt to give the impression of stars in a night sky, it looks so good.

I hope the eye test goes well Janet

Take care

Good afternoon all. I was lucky as I had to go to M&S in Basingstoke this morning and managed to do it in sunshine. Smile Started raining as I got back in and is very grey and damp now. I'm hoping to go to Ally Pally, Mikki, but won't know for sure till nearer the time. Jenny , I've never tried the bleaching thing so would be interested to see the results.

I love playing with bleaching technique but it is very unpredictable especially on dark green or black. The finished results can be cream, yellow, pale green, brown, rust or turquoise depending on your stock. I'll try to find some samples and post them here

They are too small to see properly sorry Jane Sad

At the moment I haven't had one success story and the cat seems hell bent on licking the bleach each time I use it Sad she's insane !!!!!

I have finished my Joanna Sheene weekly challenge card though, I'm relatively pleased with it Smile

Out of interest, do any of you ladies take part in any card challenges ? If so do you use the cards which you have made for the challenges? I do, the only cards I haven't used are competition ones, other than that they all get used he he.

I've done quite a few challenges. That was the reason for starting a blog - so I could enter some of them. The trouble is there are so many to choose from so I do whichever theme takes my fancy. Jackie your cards are lovely - don't put yourself down!

Try the link to my photobucket - they're in 2007 cards near the end.
The full size pictures are often much too large but I accidentally went one size smaller than normal when editing!

I never seem to have time for card challenges -the monthly swap for cards and ATCs are enough. I usually have to prep for up to 8 classes a month so that keeps me busy.
