Good morning Ladies and Gents,

I hope today finds you all fit and happy.

I have finally put away my Chrimbo crate so no more Chrimbo cards for this year
My mum has booked a holiday for her and her partner to Spain for Christmas, she goes on the 19th Dec and comes back on the 26th Dec, I am really pleased that she is doing some thing different but it will be the first time in my life that I haven't spent Christmas with her.

I done some Stamping then water coloured the pictures and I was really pleased with the results, I have never tried water colours before, it is so easy but you have to remember to use water proof ink when stamping Doh!, my first attemped was a mess

Beleive it or not We are not going to a craft shop this weekend, I have brough so much stuff over the passed few weeks that I really have no room for anything else, we are going to our friends on Saturday night for a meal. I have been friends with Jacky sine I was about three, she has three wonderful children and is a great cook.

Do you have any plans for the weekend?

Beautiful sunshine in Surrey just had to walk around the garden first thing as I don't know how much more we are going to see of the sun. The weather for the weekend looks fowl!!!!!!

No plans for the weekend as my husband is a hermit but might go to a craft shop in Addlestone but then I am trying to save up for Sandown.

Hope you all have a lovely day. I have a day off so I am hopefully going to catch doing some cards.

Just started raining here - was sunny at first. Not got anything planned for weekend as Roy has cellulitis and should be resting with his leg up. Is he though ? Course not- he's gone to work Took him nearly a week before he gave in and went to Drs - men Now he's on strong antibiotics- let's hope they work 'cos he ain't a good patient

We have nothing planned for the weekend as the weather forecast is so bad, if it does surprise us with a dry day then we will be busy in the garden getting it ready for the winter. You know digging up dying bedding plants and planting chrysthans and some spring bulbs. The one part of has never been cultivated and is based on hardcore which is taking us costing us a lot of money in soil etc as the hardcore is a few feet deep. Knowing the council its part of the foundations of my flat he he

On Monday we are meeting Celie and her family for lunch and weather permitting a jaunt around the area he he. I can't wait he he.

In the meantime I have some swap and competition cards I want to make. I was a good girl though and made 4 Christmas cards yesterday he he.

With the watercolouring Mikki, you can use ordinary inks and blend it into the picture if its the right colour for what you want, e.g stamp Christmas trees in green and then blend the colour into the tree with a water brush or a damp paint brush Hope I haven't confused you

Much as i like playing on here, I've got to make two wedding cards- one for tomorrow and one on Saturday, a birth announcment, prep for 2 classes next week, cook,clean and iron, go to aquaerobics, and clean downstairs windows if time. Should be OK for the weigh-in tonight!

Jenny M thanks for that tip. I was wondering what type of ink to get for watercolouring. Do you also need special card?

Anne does sell the watercolour specific card. Personally I am lazy I tend to use any card that doesn't have a coated surface [shiny etc] and one that doesn't soak up the watercolour so much that it blurrs the final effect. I tend to go by touch which is very difficult to explain in words he he, sorry I'm not more helpful, but I'm sure if you chat with Anne she will give you the full low down as she is our watercolour expert he he

Hi all havent been round much computer at home playing up and cant join in the threads, hope everyone ok.

Has anyone had the tsv from qvc on the 25th august if so what do you think about it, cant say i am impressed much.

Well hope to get computer fixed soon am at work at the mo, so this can only be a quickie.

Am waiting for my Occupational Therapist to come and replace the bar on my bed
Why it isbeing replaced is beyond me, there is nothing wrong with the old one
She should have been here at 2 and I am starving!
Was hoping to get some cards made today at long last
We are going to visit Alan's Mum on Saturday........well if I can make it
She is staying at his sister's for a few days after just getting a pacemaker put in
She is 84 and registered blind and lives on her own. I wish I had half her stamina
I just adore her
