My poor feet Empty My poor feet

Post  topgran Tue Jul 08, 2008 7:27 pm

Just been catching up on all the posts. Don't you all talk a lot Question It's taken me nearly an hour reading them all Exclamation I decided to go to Hobbicraft in Reading on the bus this morning (I wanted to use my bus pass for the first time) and very stupidly put on some shoes that are quite new. I have now got huge blisters on both heels, and I mean huge, all the way round. In fact I was very tempted to walk barefoot home from the bus stop! Not only that although I did do a bit of retail therapy there, I thought it was quite disappointing and didn't get what I had specifically gone for. Never mind it gives me an excuse to go shopping again - when I can get some shoes on Exclamation Exclamation lol!

Oh dear
You poor thing
There's nothing nicer than a good old soak for the feet when they get in that state.
I have one of those foot spas and I love nothing better than soaking my feet in it
Nit that I get blisters on my feet these days but it just seems the ultimate luxury thing to do Smile

I have a huge gap between my big toe and the rest so built for flip-flops (remember the Aussie thongs!) but prefer my crocs if its wet -much safer and so light

I haven't treated myself to a pair of crocs yet. Infact I can't even remember when I bought my last pair of shoes or trainers.
I have such narrow feet that I find it hard to find anything that fits well

I'm a Fly flot girl, to be honest I couldn't walk as far as I do without them as they cushion all the little joints in my feet which otherwise would hurt and force me to sit down after a very short distance. Crocs are no good for me either as when the Fibro is being good my feet are narrow, but when its playing up they are little fat things he he Smile Thin or fat they always have painted toenails he he When I can't reach them Pete does it for me when he does my weekly foot pedicure and massage ..... aren't I a spoilt little girl he he

They are starting to deteriorate but I can't have my next injection until the end of Aug. I'm trying to be sensible in the meantime so that I'm not back in the old wheelie this summer. This darned weather doesn't help though as its making the Fibro flare up which doesn't help the osteoarthritis part etc etc he he. Never mind, life is grand he he Smile
