Wednesday....

Good morning ladies,

Have had to admit defeat this morning nd got a friend to run my youngest to school, don't think that skid I did yesterday did me any favours! Can hardly weight bear at all! Still I have some cards that I want to get sorted so I will just potter about indoors with my craft stuff..

We have no snow at all now... but still hoping more will come. If the snow is causing you troubles I hope that it goes soon... also hope the situation with Jane sorts soon, she must be getting really excited now!
Only 1 day to go!!!!

Yep just 1 day until Jane flies off to Oz and it has come round really fast, just lucky your so organised Jane
Spoke to Jayne yesterday and she was just on her way to the doctors, she rung last night but didn't mention what the doctor said and I forgot to ask just asked me how to do long division, she could do it on a calculator but couldn't remember how to show the working out
Got a couple of cards to make today to get in the post, just hope they arive in time

Good morning Lou, Jen, Jan and all who follow. Brilliant sunshine today but very crunchy underfoot. Going to be brave and take the car out this afternoon - got Roy's washing to deliver and then reading group. The main roads her are all clear it's just getting it off the drive and out of the close that will be slippy but may have thawed by this afternoon.

Brr... its another cold and frosty start to the day!
Just got back from school and although its a lovely bright and sunny morning... its cold. The paths and side roads are still very icy, but at least the main roads are clear.
Bet Jane is getting really excited... touch wood all will go well for her!
Well not much planned for me today... so take care and keep warm!

Morning Lou, Jen, Jan, Sue, Karen and all who follow. I woke up to a lovely red sky this morning so the weather will probably be awful later. We had a light dusting of snow in the night but the sky looks like there might be more to come The kids have gone back to school this morning and the house is so quiet but at least I can get on the computer.

Not doing much as I can't feel the ends of my fingers that well at the moment. Once they have warmed up a bit I might try and make some cards.

OH MY GOD IT IS FREZZING out there the sun is out here too but not thawing the ice i nearly went on my bum twice taking Greg to school this morning Im nice and toasty now. Hugs to those who need them and wrap up warm and be careful if you are going out. im waiting for an Xcut Shape Cutter System them going to have a play . My card for the swap is ready to post.

Morning everyone, lovely day here today, just wish the pavements would clear so I can get to the Post Office, think I will wait just until this afternoon and try then. Lou hope your knee isn't too painful, Jan did say you were a silly girl I'm afraid I just haven't ventured out. The birds are going mad in the garden this morning, and I even saw a sparrow picking up little twigs spring is coming. Have another card to make today. Have put the washing on to catch up with all the stuff Martin brought back from Spain now he is back at work Hope you all stay nice and warm and snuggly and take care if you have to travel

Good morning Lou yes a new toy , i hope i can use it has i never could get on with the fiskars shape cutter. I will let you know

My only piece of 'proper' crafting equipment is my cuttle bug, and I only got to buy that coz I make cards for a Scottish Rabbit Rescue place and whereas I undercut myself in the quote, Kareen saw thru my quote and sent me double what I asked for! She said although the Rescue had to make a profit, I was being daft and could not afford to give £40 worth of cards away!! Spose she had a point!

They are quite easy to use once you get the hang of them Andrea. I have the oval one and I have to stand up to use it. I find it easier to use with my glass cutting board. It runs smoother.

Looks like we may have to drag our stuff a couple of hundred yards to the nearest treated road to pick up the airport taxi. Even if we travel at 20 mph we'll get there with HOURS to spare! Amazingly all the flights to Singapore/Australia are going out on time!

Good job I was so organised and packed early -hardly slept for the last 3 days with worry. Got a final check list for tomorrow so fingers crossed everyone!

Have a brilliant time Jane, I'm sure you will, wish it was me Had a moment of panic there - lost the tv during Neighbours and the internet had gone too I phoned up Virgin and she said they were doing electrical changes in the area and it would be back on at 4.00 Then I heard the tv come back while I was on the phone Missed Neighbours though so will have to watch it tonight much to Martin's annoyance

I'm thumb twiddling now and watching the black clouds building up!

Would you believe the temperature in Adelaide will have dropped 20 degrees by the time we arrive to a cool 25 - 75ish!
Jusy hope the car turns up and the roadsare clear. Tried to grab a couple of hours sleep earlier but, guess what, the builders were at it again -they managed to get through the icy roads today and have making up for lost time.

Hopefully this time tomorrow we shall be at Heathrow waiting a just a few more hours for our flight.
