Good morning Ladies and Gents,

I hope you are all well, what a wet few days we are having, our garden is looking like a jungle, I'm not much of a gardener and my friend planted some Red Robins (a big bush) for me, well they look like some thing from The day of the Triffieds, they have grown so much and I don't know how to prune them scratch

My pile of christmas cards is growing so maybe this year I will be able to make some for myself instead of having to buy them at the last minute lol!

Did any of you see on the news last night that Harrods have openned their Christmas shop already santa they say it 's so that all of their overseas customers here on holidays can buy now.

We only have to wait a few weeks until the 1st September and all the shops will have Christmas stuff out, I reaaly wish they could leave it until November, because Christmas dosen't feel specail any more.

Whats everyones plans for today? I think I will do my shaped card for the card swop and then more Christmas cards.

Have a great day what ever your doing.

x

Good morning all, glorious sunny start to the day here in Dover, been up since 6 and we had blue sky and sun then and no sign yet of it disappearing fingers crossed lol
New garden furniture arrived yesterday and Mike put it together and it looks quite nice, oh and the car passed the MOT phewwww Laughing

oh and I used to work for a company that supplied Harrods with stationery items and trust me there not as posh as people would think, the goods were shipped in from the Far East and then checked by the company I worked for and we barcoded them etc and the quality was nothing like you would expect for Harrods but they seemed to have no worries about them. Also worked for a very short while for a hamper packagers and we made food hampers up for Harrods and Harvey Nicks and the hamper baskets were damn right dangerous, I was filling one and a piece of the hamper was sticking out and I badly stratched my arm, was about a foot long stratch and when I told the guy from Harrods he didn't give a hoot, not quite what you would expect, what if I had been a customer and had paid the £175 for the hamper and ended up stratched, would be a letter of complaint well on it's way

That is so mean Andrea, sorry to hear of your loss. If they havent got children the same size, I suppose they will try to sell it. I hate dishonesty Mad When my daughter found a wallet in town one night and handed it to a policeman nearby he opened it and sounded suprised when he saw that money and cards were still in it. He said money would usually have disappeared even when people hand the rest in Shocked

Oh Andrea I am so sorry for you Sad
I HATE dishonesty!!! Twisted Evil
I always remember Dad saying that your honesty is the one thing NOBODY can take away from you and to guard it with pride Exclamation
I always have and taught my family the same ethos

But poor you
have a hug Wet Wednesday 1

As for me.........well we have been getting cental heating put in Monday and Tuesday so the house is upside down
Alan was off today as well so he took me to PC world to get a wireless internet connection for my laptop as we had a little accident last night Sad
Dear hubby accidentally managed to catch the wire for my internet connection and pulled it out in the process damaging the fitting on my laptop, he was being rather over-enthusiastic with his hand gestures Laughing
I have still to try it out in the craftroom but if it works there too WOW!!!
Apart from that I have done nothing much else apart from doze
Which is a bit much as I have a thankyou card to make before tomorrow for my Occupational Therapist
