Morning..

Its a bit miserable out today, but not as cold as what it has been. Looks like rain as well.
Had a lovely afternoon and evening yesterday. Mum came home from the Daycentre really happy. I did a nice steak meal followed by a chocolate gateau. Mum had 3 glasses of sherry and a glass of wine. Thought she would have slept really well... but it seems she didnt! There was a variety of things on the table, on the desk where the Carer's clock in machine .. there was a hammer. There was a trail of sweet wrappers (she had been given a box of chocs, I had hidden them - but Mum found them!) She seems tired this morning - but I have the Day sitter coming in today, so she will keep her occupied.
I dont intend doing much today,
Right... have a good day, off now to see what I am not going to do!!!

Good morning Karen and all who follow, glad to hear your mum had a good birthday and what was she doing with a hammer Hope she can manage to get some sleep today. Nothing doing today has hubby is under my feet theres not much work for them at the moment so he is looking elswhere has its the third day now . Good morning Karen, Andrea and anyone who follows Glad you had a good day yesterday Karen, at least you didn't know about the night until it was all over I know what it's like to have hubby around all the time Andrea, I never want to do anything when Martin is around either - that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Sally came over last night to sleep as she was worried about a pain in her chest. I told her to go to A & E but she didnt want to waste their time it it was nothing so I told her to come to us, at least she wouldnt be in a house on her own if she was ill. Got a Dr. appointment this morning - she has lost 9 lb. since November and she knew she had put on weight in December, so this has gone since she has been ill. She eats like a horse and never gets any bigger so to not eat properly I suppose she is bound to lose it. Anyway, the Dr. has sent her to the hospital to get x-rays as she is tachycardic - got pains in her chest - and she is worried about her thyroid function with her losing so much weight. Therefore I had to cancel - once again - her appointment with the Haemotology Consultant which is supposed to be this afternoon as I doubt she will make it That girl is such a worry. Got to go and pick her up from the hospital when she phones as the parking there is awful, great long queues to get in this morning. We only live 2 mins from the hospital but she sounded breathless.

Oh dear Jacky hope Sally is better soon.

Afternoon everyone. It's wet and miserable here today.

I took my car to the garage today as the brakes have been grinding the last few days and sure enough the brake pads and discs needed replacing so all of my birthday and Christmas money was spent on replacing them ( I suppose it's better to have a safe vehicle than more craft goodies)

Well, she is still not home. She text me to say she had had a blood test and x-ray and was waiting for the results and then hours later another one saying they wanted to do a ct scan to rule out a clot on the lung and if they cant do it today she may have to stay in She's not very happy - Martin has gone to her house now to feed the rabbits and I will pick them up in the morning and bring them here when it is light. Just waiting now to see if she has to stay in so that I can go and take her pjs, a book and some snacks.

Oh Jacky... poor Sally, hope it isnt too long before you hear from her.
If she has to stay in, she is in the best place. Hugs for you all, and the rabbits!

Thanks to you all Hopefully they are going to let her out even if they dont do the scan until tomorrow as we live so near to the hospital
