Wednesday Mornin'
Had a lovely day yesterday at Goolwa, Hindmarsh Island and Victor Harbor. Looked for your 'rock' on Granite Island Jacky but couldn't remember which one it was for the photo (Serpent, umbrella.......etc?)
Granite Island from a diffrent angle
A bit grey but still lovely and warm and a good temperature for site-seeing - walked miles! Still a couple of swimming days left and one more class at Charlotte's Web but this time next week we will be in Singapore and on our way home. Its gone really quickly but its been a fabulous holiday.
Already starting to think about next year's one (provided we still have some money left in the bank) and looking forward to a British Spring - though not the cold temperatures!
Have a good day everyone - hugs all round. Just finished breakfast (9.30am already) and are off to Glenelg and a quiet day walking on the beach and shopping for pressies.

Re: Wednesday Mornin'
Didn't know the rocks had names Jane. We just liked the shape of it so set the camera up on timer and jumped up Then when we visited the island with Sally she recognised it - we had forgotten all about it - this time we pulled ourselves up with a bit of help
Nice of you to think about buying us all pressies Have fun and enjoy your last week

Re: Wednesday Mornin'
Good morning Jane, Jacky, Andrea and all who follow
Lovely sunny start to the day here
Pics look great Jane, hard to believe you will be on your way back home this time next week, the time has flown by That looks like the same horse in the pictures my Mum took, hopefully it's not or it will be knocking on in years now
Pressies now that sounds exciting, what do you think we will get Jacky We always collect a little piece of rock or a pebble whenever we go anywhere and we have them all in a little box, even have a few bits on the candle holder on the coffee table that we got from the top of a mountain in Ireland
Nothing planned for today, got a few cards to make for Mother's Day so I suppose I better get on with those
Take care all and hugs for those who need them

Re: Wednesday Mornin'
Thank you Jan, a bit of fresh sea air and the smell of steam trains should do it on Saturday Janetxx
Re: Wednesday Mornin'
Morning all, was sunny here first thing but clouding over again now. Have got the craft group to go to this afternoon. We are supposed to be doing quilling, but as we didnt go to the last one, that could have changed by now
Jan & Janet, can't believe you two are getting excited about steam trains Have your hubbies visited the Watercress Line - they could have come with you when you went to the show and gone down there for a visit.

Re: Wednesday Mornin'
Oh Jacky do you really think we are getting excited about steam trains ??? We are excited because we are meeting up again Actually the day we went to Make It Mike went down to the Bluebell Line for the day, they had a Branch Line day, he did ask Dick but he was already busy but he said he had a great day He is even on someone else's video on Youtube of the day
Re: Wednesday Mornin'
Didn't really think it was the trains It was the WATERCRESS Line I was wondering if they had been to as that is near here Fancy Mike getting on You Tube There is a steam gala there this weekend but we will be in Cheltenham
Re: Wednesday Mornin'
The Watercress Line is on Mike's list of places to go most probably and as it is near you it means it must be near the Crafty Cow so sounds like a great idea to me
Re: Wednesday Mornin'
Hi yer Jacky, cause I love steam trains Dick has done the Watercress, now I not sure if its the one but there is a big Eastleigh Centenary works open day in May, he is going to that, its over the Watercress way. Janetxx
Re: Wednesday Mornin'
Well you will both be able to visit the Crafty Cow again then You can drive one if you have £250 to spare https://www.watercressonline.co.uk/section.php?xSec=50

Re: Wednesday Mornin'
Good morning all,
The day started with a massive laugh for me.... Ady came in from the dog walk at 7.30am this morning and was in a bad mood, when I asked him what was up he said a pigeon has pooped on his head, I laughed, he said, that aint the half of it, I said, do tell, he said, then I managed to shove my finger through the dog poo bag and got dog mess on my finger too... OMG he was in a right mood!!! Gave me a good giggle tho, have got the nail brush in sterilisng fluid as we speak!!!!
Jane... love the photos, looks like a lovely place to visit, can't believe your time is nearly up already x
Andrea, enjoy your 'chillin' day hun x
Jan... good luck with getting your cards done, I have loads to do but seem to have lost my mojo this week!
Jacky... hope you get to do your quilling, my 10 yr old loves quilling,
Karen... wow sounds like you have a very busy evening ahead of you, good luck!

Been there Lou ehhhhhh..........
Re: Wednesday Mornin'
Ha ha ha ha ha now Lou that has brightened my day no end, been there and done that but still very funny when you hear of someone else doing it Used to work in quarantine kennels when I left school so have done my fair share of pooper scooping but the worst I think was washing down one of the outside runs and the girl who worked with me had the brush and I had the hose and somehow I managed to get splattered with you know what, was in my hair all over my clothes, luckily we always kept clean clothes at the kennels for any eventuality and boy did I need them that day
Karen makes me glad my daughter is the age she is now, no more being dragged up the school for this and that, especially the dreaded Nativity play
If I had a spare £250 think I would be trading in my Cricut for the Expression
