Morning...

and its very very windy one as well!!! Didnt sleep too well, heard Keith get up at 5.00, so I got up as well ~ so we have been up drinking coffee ever since!! My cold seems to be coming out... am dosing myself up with paracetamol and cough sweets, on top of that trying to keep out of Keiths way, dont want to risk him getting this!
Wont be doing much today, got some jeans to pop on the line - hopefully they will stay there.
Have a good day... Dancing tonight... all 2 hour 15 minutes of it!!

Oooooh I aint been able to get on here for yonks.... seems
maintenance was delaying opening!!!

Now I am allowed back in... was wondering if you all sent me
to coventry coz of my Piggy Flu tablets LOL!!!! Not that I think
you would be that nasty LOL

Hope any poorlies are feeling a bit better today, massive germ

I do feel slightly more 'with it' today am still achy and headachy
but at least not so clumsy as yesterday..... have 3 bruises where
I walked into things, being sooo tired LOL..

Oooooh I could throttle my sister GGGGRRRRR.... I
never ask her for anything yet am always on hand
when SHE needs a babysitter for my niece.... she
never helped my hubby and kids once whilst I was
in hospital....

So when hubby got home and found out yesterday
lunchtime that we needed to get to a doctors surgery
just out of town to get the Tamiflu, she drives, so he
called and asked her. She said that she would be able
to do it that afternoon but never called in to get the
stuff. I then got a text message saying 'Sorry I'm busy
... do you still need it picking up?' OOOOHHHH I could
have knocked her block off!!!!! This was at half past 6
in the evening !!!!!!!!!!! Too late to get it anywhere then.
Ady was at work all day and he although he drives
we don't have a car so he couldn't get it for me......

I was a bit fed up as I always drop things to help her
even on my worst days and I think she realised she
had upset both me and hubby... so she said she would
do it first thing this morning.....then she had the cheek
to phone me and complain that she had to go into town
to our local Boots as the aforementioned doctors surgery
was closed on a Saturday!!!! I bit my lip.... thanked her
and put the phone down! She wouldn't even come in the
door when she dropped em off... she's not at risk coz
she's already had it and taken Tamiflu..... charming eh?

Anyways..... I am sure you all have a family member
who knows how to press ya buttons, my sister is mine,
thats for sure! Rarely have I found someone so selfish!
Even my mum gets fed up!

So I have taken my first dose.... keeping my fingers
crossed that it has some effect and no side effects....
I am usually ok taking medicines, except the one that
kills my immune system Methotrexate... so I should be
fine. Had someone on my facebook page tell me not to
take it I don't really think thats an option with no
immune system, do you? LOL

Good morning Ladies

Long time no post, my apologies for that and thank you for your concern.

Lou I hope you conquer the old Swine flu quickly, I am sure it was one complication
you could well have done without

Hope you get a better nights sleep tonight Karen, I usually get woken a couple of times a night at present as they have Andy on these tablets which means he tends to go
more often than usual and he generally wakes me up in the process!

I am back at work full time now and we have had big customer meetings all week
so when I do get home I am not usually with it enough to do anything other
than a quick 10 min catch up on whats going down. I have had to bring some
work home with me this weekend or we would struggle with a document delivery
for next week.

Andy and I went for his follow up appointment with the consultant on Wednesday
and although the cyst/kidney was confirmed as being cancerous the good news
was that there were no signs of it in the blood vessels coming from it and the outside
of it so they are happy that it has not spread. So, considering the size of it I think he
can believe he is a very lucky man. He has a prostrate check at the end of the month
but things have improved greatly in that area so I think that will be a formality.

I have booked myself on a glitterpot class at the end of the month to finally learn
how to use my copics properly - felt a day out for me was in order now.

Oh well better get some lunch now - bacon butties.

Andy is being a good lad and sorting out the music for my MP3 player, he has some uses.

Big hugs for you Lou.... bit unfair of your sister when you are always there for her. But at least now you know what to say when she asks a favour of you - that sounds horrible, and I dont mean to but as they say - one good turn deserves another. Keith goes into hospital next week, and I am struggling for a lift in to see him on the Thursday, just hoping one of his family offers.
