Monday morning
Good morning ladies
Dry and bright ish this morning, thankfully
We have had a very quiet and restful weekend and done not much at all, but it's been great
What a farce the X Factor was, those 2 boys are still in and sending home people who do at least have some talent, dont normally watch it and this is the reason why
Hope all the poorlies are feeling better today
Hope you all have a great day and take care xXx

Re: Monday morning
Morning everyone
I agree about X Factor, I think people vote them in for comedy factor which really isn't fair on the people who have genuine talent. Its a bit like they did with John Sergeant in Strictly Come Dancing last year. I think those girls could have been good, I just hope that Louis is happy now as he chose those idiotic boys and they are all he's been left with. Almost makes you feel that there shouldn't be a public vote, just let the judges and studio audience decide.
I'm going to be a busy girl today as I have my daughter and granddaughters down for the day I can't wait I love spending time with them, but I know my craft room will be upside down when they have finished as they love coming in here and making things
Hugs for all and extra ones for the poorlies

Re: Monday morning
Blimey I am knackered!
So sorry for neglecting you all, but what with the kids and Ady
off and getting the pad ready for Shell and the troop coming
down I have been literally trying to find a second to squeeze in
any computer time at all!
I am very excited...... but also a bit worried about my mobility
affecting what we can do while Shell visits, as it aint been great
recently I am sure we can find something to amuse
ourselves even on bad days LOL
Also have got to find some time to search the net for a holiday
destination for next May kids holidays as my dad wants to take
us all away again as a Retirement pressie to himself! He also
wants to take my sis and my niece which will be nice. He wants
ME to find a Haven/John Fowler site or a country cottage......
places mentioned have been Wales, Norfolk, Somerset etc...
we have already done Devon and Cornwall!
I like the idea of Wales but am worried about the hills, but will
have to see what comes up when I have a looksee... I am so lucky
to have a dad like I do, he is a stubborn ole goat at times but he
really loves his family round him. He knows both me and Rachael
(my sis) have had tough years... me with my health and Rae with
the break up of her 15 yr marriage.... so he wants us to all get
away together..... not only is he paying for the accommodation but
has said he doesn't want us to have to pay out spending money
either and is allowing a budget of £100 per person (even kids)
on him, whatever extra we can save we can use too! Obviously
we have to sort out kennelling the dog.... so will Rae.... and it will
be the 1st time Rolo has been kennelled
Aren't we lucky? Just need to find somewhere wheelchair friendly
now or somewhere that has a Motorbility shop that I can hire a
lightweight motor scooter from so that I don't have to half kill
family members trying to push me up hills!!!
Gonna have a little read now to catch up xxx

Re: Monday morning
Good evening all. Just back from Cheltenham, the funeral went ok, and the weather was very warm and sunny for us. My friend coped extremely well and there was hardly standing room in the chapel, they had to leave the doors open at the back as not everyone could get in. He was one of 9 children and obviously very popular with his workmates and friends Took Mum and Sally out for lunch after, before coming home again
Hope you find somewhere nice for your holiday Lou what a superdad you have
and I am sure you have had a great time with your daughter and granddaughters Jen
I was hoping the twins would go out They are awful
