Kids were a nightmare this morning getting ready for school, dunno what got into them, they seemed to have an abundance of energy and I just couldn't keep up! Mind you it was nice to see them all bouncy and happy! Even the dog got tired out in the end..... there are only so many minutes you can put up with 2 kids trying to find yer tickly spot!!! Poor old boy had to have a lay down in a dark room after they had finished with him!

Karen... sorry you and your mum had such a waiut in A & E yesterday hun, hope her foot is a bit better today x

I have had my swap card thru from Lexie yesterday so will post that in the Swap room in a minute x Thanks Lexie, its gorgeous...... did ya have trouble finding a pen to work hun?? LOL

Jan... most peeps change their days off so they can spend time with their OH when they are off work.... NOT just to get a lift into work PMSL!!!

A lot better weather wise here today, good job really as I had to take the children up to school!!
Called in at mum's on the way back, and although her foot is really bruised the swelling has gone down - but then she has been resting all night. Have made her up some lunch and told her to make sure she eats it!!! I can be so bossy sometimes!!!!
Must catch up on some housework, it has got put on hold lately!
Going to put some washing out as it is a lovely sunny blowy day.

Lovely sunny day here too. Just had a long talk with my daughter in Australia - not long till we go (under 2 months now)

Walked down to collect my prescription and now going to knuckle down to some craft........... possibly! Have only made about 4 cards this month and no ATCs yet - really can't get going at the moment.

Had a great walk, don't know how many miles we eventually walked as the leader went the wrong way a couple of times It was good company though and the sun kept shining Talking to a lady she mentioned her granddaughter was going into hospital again next week and it turns out that her granddaughters story was in the paper and on tv this week. She is 7 years old and has had cancer since she was 4 and they are trying to raise money to send her to America and there is no other treatment in England that they can try on her. http://robynhiggins.com/ is her story. It is so sad and she seems such a happy little girl when I saw her on the tv.

Joshua went away with the school yesterday and he comes home tomorrow so he will be full of exciting tales when he returns.

Well Lou it takes me 2 hours to get to and from work on the bus and if Mike takes me its about 40 minutes both ways plus I get 'me' day on Thursday and can lay in bed undisturbed and watch a film before I get up

Afternoon ladies. Not sure where the time has gone so far this week. Had visit to dentist this morning to have crown fitted and have had a good sort out in craft room - I can see the floor again. THink I might have made all my Christmas cards but will have to have a count up and make sure i''ve got a few spares just in case!

Well, I finally made a card but can't post pictures of it as it's for the November swap. May have a go at the challenge when I get back from work tomorrow..but, at the moment my 'get up and go' seems to have 'got up and went'

Just been watching last night's 3D programmes on Playback as I finally tracked down some 3D glasses in Sainsburys. Nipped out to get some petrol before the price goes up again and their 107p a litre was the best I could find. Couldn't believe that it costs 140 in Kensington!

Already made the chicken stirfry with ginger and will reheat later with some noodles. Looks like another boring night in front of the TV then early to bed with a good book.
