Good afternoon all - horrible weather again here but looks like it might be a dryer week. Jan safe journey and we are all with you Sue, thanks for letting us know that the show was cancelled today, not that I was going to bother going after buying a 3 day ticket, there was nothing more to see. Sorry we missed you, should have had your number so we could have text you where we were. Got a couple of cards to do and my ATCs I have just kept putting them off but have to do them today, and will sort them out as soon as Jane's get here.

Just got back from church after driving through floods. Its still tipping it down so will hibernate for the rest of the day. Was thinking of coming to the crafty Cow but there's no way I'm driving in this.

Had a lovely long chat to Karen and the girls on the webcam this morning - first time since we got back. The girls were so lively and talked about lots of the things we did with them. Definately made the right decision to move there so hope we are accepted and that the Visa process goes as smoothly as possible. They're off for a holiday to Noosa with the other grandparents at the end of the week but haven't forgotten us...........yet

Aww that's nice Jane, rain has stopped over here now but don't know what the roads are like after all that rain. Stopped here about an hour ago.

Had very little rain here and no high winds so looks as though they cancelled the show unnecessarily. Apparently they are going to look at how to give a partial refund next week if you have a 3 day ticket. Doubt I would have heard my phone Jacky with the noise from the roof - I don't always hear it even when its quiet if its in my bag

I missed the phone call from my friend in there too, it was so noisy. Think today would have been better than Friday for the wind

Panic set in and I finally had to get in my craft room. Had a phone call at 2.30 to say I had a class tomorrow with 6 people. The last one I had was in September so I had got out of the habit of preparing samples as so many classes had been cancelled! The class list was one of the few things (emails) I lost on my old computer.

The subject, being St David's Day was 'daffodils' Made 2 cards (plus an alternative hyacinth one) and the 3rd will be a side step which I haven't quite finished. Not a bad afternoon's work.
