Morning Lexie and all who follow...
another hot one today. Been down to Mum's to deliver tablets, the carer turned up so left them to get on with things.
No plans for today, still waiting to cut the grass, but its too hot! My excuse and I am sticking to it.
Have a lovely day whatever you are doing... keep cool!!

Good morning Lexie, Karen and all who follow. Hot here this morning and got up late after a late night last night. Went to the charity fundraiser which Sally had helped to organise - very good night and they raised over £7,500. She was thrilled At the end of the night she was presented with a bouquet of flowers, we were so proud of her. The magician was brilliant, close up magic where he goes around the room performing to small groups. Think he did the same trick all round but very clever and I certainly couldn't work out how he was doing it, even when he did it in very slow motion The band was very good - 60s music, and they performed for nothing. The Aviator hotel is very impressive and it was worth going just to go in and see it.
No plans as yet today but enjoy your day whatever you are doing

Good morning everyone from a sunny Rossendale. It's hot even now, in fact this 'puter in the Community lounge is about the coolest place to be. It doesn't get any sun due to the shape of the building.
Have a lovely day whatever you have planned.

Good morning everyone. It's really hot here and I have a stinking headache so I wont be doing much today. I got half of the garden cut yesterday but I couldn't find the extension lead so the bottom end still needs to be done.
Jacky soundds like last night was great fun and well done to Sally for raising so much money.

Re: sunny saturday...
Beautiful day here. The garden beckons this afternoon! Son has just spent 45 minutes here on hold to renew his car insurance as he needs to use my credit card to do it, after I had spent 30 minutes the other night only to be told I couldn't do it for him in case I was doing it to spite him! As if I'd be paying for it if we'd fallen out! But he was able to give them my CC details without them speaking to me to check if it was OK! Good job it was a freephone number!
Enjoy the sunshine!

Just back from a trip to Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park. Took a picnic lunch and walked our socks off. Glorious sunny day and flowers were absolutely beautiful.
Had a large soft icecream with flake - first one in over 2 years - forgotten how good they were!
Here's a link to a slideshow of the many photos I took. Take a little while to load but worth waiting for!

Wow Jane, those photos are stunning, thanks for showing them to us. I think quite a few of those would make excellent cards
