Morning!!

Sunshine here today, and looks like its going to be good all day.
This morning I have to go to mum's... the council are coming to put right the ceiling from when they took out the old kitchen.
Other than that... not much happening.
Amy packed her case last night... then unpacked it!! She says she was seeing if everything would go in... personally I think it was a case of can she get any more stuff in!! And she didnt have any underwear/nightwear or toiletries in - so I can assume that those things are going in our case!!

Hope everyone is bright and chirpy this morning... if not why not?

I have a gippy tummy today and my knee is complaining about having to make too many visits to the loo upstairs! I am sure it will settle soon..... Even had to get the kids to walk down to school together without me this morning as was worried about being away from loo! Luckily its only a few hundred yars and I crossed them over the only road!

Hope Jen is getting there.... hope everyone else is well x

Morning Karen, Lou, Andrea and all who follow. I spent last night at the hospital with Michaela, she banged her shoulder on the railings at school yesterday dinner time and by the time she had had tea she couldn't move her arm or feel her fingers as they had gone numb. They said she had bruised her muscle so gave her some paracetamol and ibuprophen and told her to kep moving it. It's a bit better today but at least it was her right arm she injured(she's left handed) as she has a Maths test today and she would have been devastated if she couldn't have done it.
It's a lovely day here today so I will have washing out on the line in a bit then I will finish wrapping the lucky dip prizes for the school fayre on Saturday an then set to making all the stall signs

Karen I hope the ceiling is sorted for your mum. Lou I hope you feel better soon. Andrea have a lovely day whatever you decide to do.

Morning everyone , bright and sunny here and very breezy so waiting for washing so I can hang it out , a good blowy day as my used to say !
Had a laugh last night on skype , my dad has got a vuvusalia , one of those horn things and was out in he garden blowing it and yes they are loud ! all the way from south africa to East Grinstead !
shame on your daughters arm , it will probably be painful for a while..

We are away from friday till momday evening , going to see our friends in Glouster on the farm , am really looking forward to the break.Dulcie had a great time yesturday .Rupe has an exam today , hope it goes well he has been working hard , Iam really surprised ! so his place at uni means alot to him , my baby boy is growing up !!!

Hi ladies and thanks for the kind wishes I'm still improving thanks No district nurse visit today, they are letting me dress it myself ... oh I feel so grown up he he.
Hope your mum's ceiling gets sorted out today Karen, its a pain when the snag list takes longer than the actual job, I had the same problem with my kitchen renewal - it took the council over 18 months to sort it out and its still not right but I gave up fighting. The bathroom fiasco was a complete waste of taxpayers money, they insisted on replacing my bathroom even though I was having a disabled shower fitted imminently. So 2 months after the work was finished it was all ripped out to put in the disabled version!!

Hope your tum eases up soon Lou, its horrible ... after the last few weeks I hope I never have an upset stomach again in my life he he.

I did pm Lou last night about this as Lou had ordered from them too, but this Asda 75.00 thingie on Saturday, has ended up with my daughter having her card cloaned, someone has been trying to use it from Saturday afternoon, [when she placed her order] and the bank put a stop on it Sunday and failed to tell her, so standing in Tesco yesterday trying to pay for shopping was very embarassing

Thats terrible Jan , your poor daughter must of been mortified , so was he whole thing a scam ? If it was Lou has got of lightly , lets hope no nasty shocks there ! sending hugs to your daughter , shame there are some rotton crooks about .

Lou you're not the only one with a funny tummy. Woke up this morning with griping tummy pains and a headache! Seems to be easing off a bit now thank goodness as I need to pop out this aftrnoon and got a scrapbooking get together tonight.

No Lexie from what we have been told there were a few people that they sent the voucher to, but it got out of hand with people telling friends on networking sites so they pulled the plug, but it looks at the moment someone has taken the opportunity to `have a go` the only trouble with these things is you never really find out what has happened

Not had the best of days with Mum... she went walkabouts this morning... I am blaming myself because normally I put the key out of eyesight, but last night the carer came early and I forgot about the key. Mum managed to walk all the way up the street, fortunately the newsagent came and told me where she was.
We are in the process of getting mum into the home a few days early, as I want to see her settled and I need to wind down ... will still be a busy week as I have got to get mum's stuff sorted out.

Goodness me, what a bad time some of you are having. Hope you are all better soon.

I'm a bit tired having worked this morning, gardened all afternoon - battling with ground elder and planting up hanging baskets and tubs, then spent an hour making Monday's card samples! phew!!!!

Off to a friends later so must go and have a shower and smarten myself up a bit. Hope tomorrow is a better one..............

Oh what a shame Karen , don't blame yourself, and stop feeling guilty!!! TRY an relax before you go , helps you get in the holiday mood that much quicker !
Micky is shattered , he has been removing a dead pear tree , think the ivy choked it...we are getting a new couple of fence panals , maybe going down one side so its alot of clearing to do , the neighbour is helping , but he;s at work all day an Micky is enjoying it , Alam is getting fence panals , I've been suppling cool drinks and tea and coffee !!!.... thats team work !

Oh dear Janet, hope she has got her card sorted out now, how awful for her, having it cloned and not finding out it had been stopped
