Good morning all, beautiful sunny day here this morning - think I may spend it in the garden Hope you all enjoy your day and hugs to any poorlies. Karen, hope your cold is better this morning I woke up with a sore throat but seems to have gone since I had breakfast

Thanks Jacky... still feel yuk, but at least my nose has stopped dripping (sorry if thats too much info!) Feels as if its in my head now, just feel as if I have been on the booze all night and not had the pleasure... honest! have just cancelled a meeting that I was due to go to tomorrow at the Day Centre with their team. I have to catch 2 buses to get there and I really dont feel up to it. They have cancelled and will rearrange the meeting.

Its sunny here at the moment, and quite pleasant out.
Not doing much today, Mum has the Carer in at lunchtime... so I can have a rest.

Going to walk up to the surgery to drop off my repeat prescription and enjoy the sunshine. Back in an hour or so.

Really sunny here and lovely when in the sun but a little cold whist walking the dogs was in the shade, have some more cards to make now i'm back from work and doing roast lamb with all the trimmings for tea. Hope your cold clears up soon Karen we all had it here a week few weeks ago, thinking of yu try and rest as much as you can. Love and hugs to all poolies.xx

Didn't get out in the garden, by the time I had sorted some washing out, made a card and then we went to the pub where they do a pensioners lunch for £4.95 - I had gammon, egg & chips and Martin had a lovely steak pie with sliced potatoes and veg, followed by ice-cream They only do it on a Monday. Had to sit down and catch up on tv when we got back, couldn't move. Going to have a go at my ATC's now

Just finished my ATCs and popped down to post them to get a bit more sun.

Enjoyed the casserole I made yesterday in the slow cooker. Clive's put on a few pounds recently (less gardening jobs) so we're being a bit stricter this week - less carbs anyway!

Afternoon everyone. Sorry I wasn't on over the weekend. Kayleigh was taken into hospital with a suspected appendicitus. She had blood tests and an ultra sound but they couldn't find anything wrong so sent her home last night. She is still in a lot of pain so I will have to see how she goes and if necessary take her back if she doesn't improve.

Oh Frances - hugs for you and Kayleigh, poor little soul has really been through it. Hope it is sorted soon for her and if she is still in pain I would take her back and make a nuisance of myself - there is obviously something wrong or she wouldn't be in pain.

Hope everyone else is ok and Karen your colds better .I was working today and at lunch time I remembered I asthma clinic this week , Thought maybe it was wednesday , and they told me it was 3.50 this arvy ! so I left work early and went , nurse was'nt happy and looks like I am getting some new treatment !!! But was very happy with my blood pressure ( so was I ! ) But funny to thimk the nurses know more about asthma than Doctor !!!! hugs to all xx

The family that live down the road from us are a lovely family , keep themselves to them selves ,we heard last night that there 26 year old Autistic son had killed himself ,jumped from the carpark level in Crawley Mall ,We heard it on the radio but did'nt know it was him , such a shame poor lad but the really sad thing is , the day before I was outside chatting to my friend and another neighbour and we heard aload of shouting , and the dad getting a bit irate then we saw the dad drive off with Chris ( he lived in a assisted living house at Crawley ) so his mum must be beside herself with grief and that they all had had a terrible row.... so sad .

Oh Lexie, what a terrible thing, the poor family must be devastated - especially after a row, they are probably blaming themselves.

Andrea, hope your ear is getting a bit better with the antibiotics.

Sorry Andrea but you made me chuckle. Did you accidentally bash your ear doing the high kicks then or was it the backward rolls?
