Hooray - we're back. Not been on for a while as been on hols then was babysitting 7-month- old grandson for a week while mum and dad had a belated honeymoon. All peace and quiet now they've gone back to Scotland - too quiet really and OMG there was no forum

Hello Topgran - don't think I've chatted with you before but I'm sure I will from now on

Hello ERfie, don't come on as often as I should. Had to do a letter that needs posting this morning so thought I'd have a quick look at emails and of course there was a newsletter saying forum was mended! Thought I'd just have a quick look and here I still am - but I should be in Tesco's!! Must go or I will be rushing around all day- hopefully will look in later on.

Thankfully, we're a lot better than Tescos

Off topic a touch for a mo, some of the threads are running first to last and others last to first randomly. Is it something that the poster starting the thread decides or is it a blip ?

Did you have a good holiday Topgran? where did you go?
I am having to wait until September /October for my holidays, my mum wants to take me to Malta for a week in September as she wants to play the machines in the casino(sp!) and Alan and I are going to Cornwall for two weeks end of September, still they will be worth waiting for and are something to look forward too

I'm glad you picked that one up Jen -I thought I was going mad.
Previously the latest were always first in the list but now they seem to be all over the place and I haven't found why either.

Had a lovely holiday Mikki - we went to France for a week near Royan. Hoping to buy a house out there in the next couple of years so were having a look at the area. You will enjoy Malta. I lived there as a child for 3 years and went back for the first time in 2005 and liked it so much we went again in 2006 and 2007. Last year we stayed in the Dragonara Hotel next to the casino. It was fantastic - lovely views, good weather, but we didn't visit casino.
