Saturday

Good morning all, just a quick visit as I have decided to go and see Mum today. Have given up on the pills to see how my shoulder is now - couldn't stand another day of feeling ill all day - both lots of pills have side effects the same so wouldn't even know which ones were causing it to get them changed.

Hope you all enjoy today, promises to be brighter today so thought we would get ourselves out before the rain is back tomorrow. Hugs to any poorlies still suffering.

Evening... very quiet today

Had quite a good day, got into town early to change the trousers that were too short... needless to say they didnt have any longer length. Called in on Mum to sort her lunch out. Then back home to do a bit of stripping (Amy's wallpaper!!!) Had to do some ironing for Mum first... and then Keith went to bed, as he didnt feel too good - so no stripping got done.
Weather has been really nice.
Sorry to hear you have to stop the tablets Jacky... thats the only trouble, you take tablets for one problem and end up with 10 others.
I am making Lemon pannacotta tomorrow - never done it before, so hope its a success!

I wondered what you were up to Karen - stripping glad you added the wallpaper Panacotta sounds nice, let us know how you get on, I wouldn't have a clue how to make it. Sorry to hear Keith is feeling unwell again today, hope he is feeling better in the morning.

I was really shocked when I saw Mum, her left leg is 3 times the size of her right one and she is nearly as round as she is tall - she is retaining so much water and she says her leg has gone down Even her face looked bloated as though she was having an allergic reaction. My sister scared me for a minute too, she passed me an envelope secretly which she had written on the front "you better have this in case we don't make it" - I went really cold with the "we" bit and sat quietly wondering what was in this envelope. It suddenly came to me that we were going away for the weekend with them in March and they had the booking details and her husband might be having treatment for his bowel cancer. They had just been talking about wills and I thought for a minute she was giving it to me to look after Anyway Mum was surprised to see us as it was a spur of the moment decision to go and I phoned her about half an hour before we got there. My shoulder has been fine all day, see how it is in the morning.
