Morning all.

I am off to the charity shop again this morning, I still woke up early but nodded off so I shall have to head towards the shower soon to wake myself up.

The sun is out again, but oh my, didn't it go cold last night? I was fine when I was in bed but during the evening I was waiting to go to bed lol

Just saying Hello... still got Mum in the CH and now trying to make the decision on what to do for the best. Part of me wants to keep Mum in there as she is settled, the other part wants her home. I have got the extra night sit I wanted. We are going to pay privately for another 2 which leaves 2 nights which Keith and myself will do.
Its such a hard decision, obviously I want the best for Mum and as I am an 'only child' I just feel its all on me to make the decision.

Good morning Marion, Janet, Karen and all who follow Beautiful here today again. I was so cold yesterday afternoon, put the electric fire on for a short while to warm the room up and closed all the doors. Went round to Ian & Ruths last night, they were having a takeaway Chinese and invited us for looking after Callie for them yesterday. Ruth had a photo shoot to do and didnt know how long she would be and didn't want to leave her alone too long

Morning ladies. Lovely and sunny here this morning but it was cols last night - I had the gas fire on all evening!

Karen it is a very hard decision to make - I still have pangs of guilt about putting my mum in care even though I know it was the right decision. Don't forget you also have to think about what is best for you all as a family. Lots of hugs for you.

Off to have eyebrows done this morning - I'm having them threaded- never had it done before normally have them waxed.

I'm here ....... just can't seem to find the time to get on here when the kids are at home it's so frustrating...... Georgia on my pc, Em on the lappy, then Ady's day off as soon as I got em back to school

I just seem to keep coming on and making excuses... but at least that should be it for about 3 weeks... should be able to get on daily (except Tues and Weekends) till they break up for ANOTHER WEEK at the end of May!

Do ya remember I told you I had a bad rash on my hands, fingers, feet and ankles a while back... well have just finished the course of antibiotics they prescribed and had to go back and see the doc today cos its not going.....

Well have just got back from the docs and she is going to refer me to a dermatologist..... and she has given me some Doublebase gel to keep them intensively moisturised when I am not putting the antibiotic/steroid cream on..... so hopefully will get it sorted eventually... just not nice having swollen, blistered scabby hands this time of year...at least my feet I can keep under wraps!!

Also received my letter from the hossy about my Lumbar Epidural Injection... not got a date yet but got the letter explaining what it is....it says....

The proceedure will take place in a x-ray enabled operating theatre to enable the doc to place the injection at the appropriate level using both MRI scans and xrays. I will be sedated but not enough to knock me out totally as I need to be able to communicate. The needle is placed under x-ray control and then a contrast medium is injected to ensure correct placement of the epidural injection.

Ady will have to be with me the entire day and maybe the next too... (more holiday days wasted ) If he is not booked off they would cancel the treatment!!!

It can take about 4-6 weeks to become effective..... and the best bit is..........

THE NHS IS BACKED UP AND THEY HAVE DECIDED THAT I CAN GO TO A PRIVATE HOSSY AND HAVE IT DONE IN THE LAP OF LUXURY!!!!!!

Ooooh get me in a PRIVATE hospital! Thats where all the women go to have their boobs plumped up!!! Maybe they could use some of mine to save on silicone!!! If they let me have a tv in my room I will let em have half a titful!!!

Well I have had a lovely day today, took a birthday card round to my friend I used to work with, rang the bell but no-one came so I put it in his letterbox but he came to the door as I was getting back in the car. So he invited me in for a cuppa - his wife was there too with his little grand-daughter - so spent a little time with them. Came away with some lavender plants and lupins Then popped to my other friend who I worked with as she had some tomato plants for me and spent the rest of the afternoon sitting in her garden chatting and drinking tea
