Sunny Tuesday

Morning ladies.

Gosh, I woke up to sun again!!! I am enjoying this weather.
I am in the shop again this morning, just to help out while one of the others has to go somewhere.
The its off to the "oldies" club this afternoon, and tonight I intend to put my feet up and do "nowt".

Yes the sun was already out when I woke at 7 this morning. Doesn't it make you wake up in a happier mood? and it makes you feel better during the day doesn't it? I am sure I should have been born in one of those hot countries abroad

Enough of my nonsense, hope you all enjoy the day

Good morning Marion and all who follow I agree, the sun does make me feel so much better. Have had a good clean of the kitchen this morning as Martin had to get up at 6.30 for golf and while he is out of the way I can clean the floors Had a phone call yesterday to say they would deliver our garden chairs on Wednesday, and then when I came home from taking Martin to pick up the Bongo someone phoned and left an answerphone message to say they would come today Bless her, the lady phoned me up again from home later to check I had got the message (which I hadn't noticed) as she was worried I might not be in. She had tried 3 times on the answerphone and I was only gone about half an hour. Just hope it arrives now - she did read out exactly what was coming

Going to try and have a tidy up of my craft room again - how do the things keep jumping off the shelves onto the worktop Enjoy your day at the shop and the oldies club Marion Lets hope that sun keeps shining. I doubt it, if I get garden chairs

We have sunshine at the moment. I have got the grass cut... it was hard work as it hasnt been done for a couple of weeks. Anyway, now I am mustering up the energy to clean the bathroom... not on my agenda, but it does need doing.
Marion... have fun at the club and make the most of your rest this evening.
Jacky... I was a bit confused when I read your post... thought Bongo was making phonecalls for a minute

No the Bongo hasn't got a phone Karen I will be doing my bathroom tomorrow, after the dog groomer has been. Molly has a bath in there after being cut and there is hair everywhere afterwards.

Jacky, did the garden furniture come? I have come to the conclusion that its a waste of time trying to tidy our craft rooms. Mine is such a small one though, I only have to not put a few things away and it looks a mess.

Karen, what a good girl you are cutting the grass. Ours is just dead! so nothing to cut.

Gosh, all these bathrooms being cleaned lol I did mine a couple of day ago.
Well I got back from work just in time to go to the oldies club Then when I got home I had to sort something out in the garden. The tortoise for some reason has started burrowing near the fence. So I found some wood in the garage, then found a saw, cut it to the length I needed it, put it against the fence and stopped her messing about. Was so funny though, while I was talking to my neighbour Nelly kept walking backwords and forwards along where I had put the wood, she really couldn't understand it. We watched her walk along it about eight times lol was so funny.
So I didn't get my sit down when I got home. I sorted out the fence and then decided to try and get the border around the garden again! I just hope I don't ache tomorrow.

Yes Marion, the chairs all turned up ok, and the forecast is rain for tomorrow Ah well it will stop me lazing around in the garden.
Our grass was about 4" high when we came back from the weekend, can't believe how quickly it grows - Martin has now cut it 6 times since it was laid. We have never had grass like it before and we haven't watered it for a while now. I didn't know tortoises would dig, making her great escape My friend over the back field from our house had a tortoise years ago when the children were small - his name "Crunchy Sandwich" He escaped once, maybe he dug a tunnel too, and he was found 2 streets away. Luckily he had a paint mark on his shell so they could identify him.

thanks Janet - I think it is showers forecast for today so we may miss it. Bit misty when we got up this morning so who knows
