Morning...

Another early morning, I thought it was 6.20.. got downstairs and it was 5.20
But its a beautiful morning! More washing to do today, and thats it ... no more!
Got some ironing, collect prescriptions, collect book from library, call and see Mum and I think that is my day sorted!

Good morning Karen and all who follow, dont u just hate it when you get up that early cos you thought it was later it gives you more time to get things done though Its beautiful here too i hope it stays like it. Im off for my weekly chill on my own this week has i think Gemma was bored last week when she came with me has she has finished school now and got time on her hands till College in September. The sun is out here and its lovely and warm, so when I got dressed this morning, instead of trousers I put a long skirt on (my favourite way of dressing) and a blouse. When I came down into the lounge, my little grandson Matty said "Oooh Gran you look bootiful" and what made us laugh was the way he pronounced beautiful, because as I live in Norfolk beautiful by the locals in pronounced boootiful

Afternoon ladies. It's lovely and sunny here today.

I've been at the hospital with Josh (10 til 3.30). He fell down some rocks back in March and since then he has been complaining of a pain in his hips and groin. I have taken him back to the GP a couple of times but they keep telling him to rest and take regular painkillers but yesterday they finally decided to send him back to A&E with a letter asking them to look at him again. He has had X-Rays and blood tests today and they can't find anything wrong but they want to do more tests in a few weeks so we just have to wait for an appointment.

Karen sounds like your day was well organised. I hope your mum is settled now

Good afternoon all - sorry I have been absent. Finding it difficult to type as I have a sore thumb. Dont know why, but think I have an infection in it. Have got all the holiday washing done and Martin has done the ironing this morning. I went out to lunch with two of my friends today - its beautiful here today so sat outside there.

Awwww marion what a little darling , they say lovely things ah ! I saw a friend recently and her 3 yr old said lexie lexie where is the old man ! I howled as I knew she ment Micky , who she adores ! Even Micky had a good laugh at that one !

Lexie... your post about 'the old man' reminded me when Amy was little.... we used to chat over the fence with our next door neighbour, (her husband was 30 years older than her) June was chatting to Amy about Nursery... when all of a sudden Amy asked where her little boy was - meaning her husband Needless to say the ground didnt open up and swallow me!!
