Good morning ladies.

We didn't get the rain as expected and none this morning, well, not yet lol But its so humid. I didn't even pull the duvet over me during the night.

I was talking to my friend on messenger last night and about 7.30 I fell asleep on her! one moment I was typing away to her and I must have just nodded off. I was very tired though, think it was the heat. I slept for about an hour, and woke up with some messages saying where are you, are you okay? lol

Charity shop for me this morning, the managers aren't there today so this is an extra day for me. Then I have to come home, do a quick look around and hope that everything is okay, as I have a friend coming tomorrow afternoon that I met on a forum. We haven't met before but have talked on the computer a lot and had quite a few phone calls, so I am really looking forward to tomorrow, I just hope its not too hot.

Good Morning Marion and all who follow,had a lovely day in the garden yesturday and managed to top up my south africa tan Was feelingreally fed up with Dulcie yesturday as she kicked off big time on sunday evening , and there was me thinking life had improved , she really hurt my arm and now its all bruised and achy .But the sunny day improved my mood ! ironing to do to day !

Heavy overnight rain here has cleared the air and the sun is trying to come out. First lot of washing out and another load chuntering along in the machine. changed the beds and towels so lots to get dry. Got my head in a good book and detirmined to finish it today.

Got to unpack yesterday's craft box - so many bits left over with such a small class so will make some extra cards for my box. Only one more class left and I'll then start to pack up boxes properly (after making cards for July and August birthdays)

cement lorry due next door soon and then the wall building will start - looks a tip at the moment so hope not too many prospective buyers drive past! Have a good day all.

Morning Marion and Lexie and all who follow. We diddn't get the rain either Marion so it was a good job I went out and watered the pots last nights! Worktop doesn't look too bad after liberal applications of bleach thank goodness. Don't think new worktops would have been easy without breaking the wall tiles and I really don't want the expense of changing the whole kitchen as i wouldn't get the benefit of it as when Roy retires within probably next 12 months we'll be moving.
On here early today to check whether I had had an ebay payment. Sold some stuff over the weekend and want to post it today but one payment still outstanding. It does annoy me when people don't pay quickly!

I'm fuming and smoke is coming out of my ears!!!!!!

Neighbour has just popped round to ask for his 'down payment' towards the cost of the new wall (which I didn't particularly want anyway) £500!!!!! and that's probably only half of it!!! No wonder Clive kept quiet about that. I've been skimping and saving as the $ rate shows no sign of improving and am furious that he's done all this without consulting me (or at least not telling me the whole story)

Oh dear Jane don't blame you for being annoyed when you have dropped the price of the house too. Sue, glad you have sorted your worktop. Hope you are all behaving yourselves as I will be back tomorrow. Really looking forward to tonight.

I'm still fuming - got back home after sitting on the Downs in my car watching the lightning. My wet washing was still on the line and you-know-who was watching sport on TV. Bread and water? - he'll be lucky. He can make up his bed too I'm sleeping in the spare room tonight.

I know I'm being petty but having a good strop makes me feel better ..... temporarily. I'm so angry at the moment, not sure when I'll calm down. That was the final straw to a grotty few days.

I've sneaked downstairs while he's on the afternoon run - was starving as I'd missed my lunch!

We all feel like that at times , men drive you crazy ah ! Jacky I Hope you have a fab time tonight ! Bruises look horrendous but its the pain at the top of my arm , where of course no bruise ! Dulcie was a bit sheepish when she came in tonight , good job too !

Still sulking - ate meal in silence then left him to make up beds and do the washing up- Hasn't managed the kingsize duvet yet but I'm in the spare room so tough!

oh dear Jane, yes I would be hopping mad as well, especially after just dropping the price of the house and you trying to save every penny you could.
When the two of you do start speaking again, ask him the real reason he didn't tell you, lol unless you don't knock it out of him first

But whatever happens, I do hope its all sorted soon.
