Morning girls.
Wow, the sun is out !!! but I dont know how long for.
Nothing planned for today.
Wednesday is coming even quicker now, and the nerves are playing up a bit I aren't worried about the actual flying, its all the stuff between getting to the airport and getting onto the plane. Everyone keeps telling me not to worry, but when you haven't flown for 40 years, well, its like a new experience. And when I last flew it was with the RAF and it was so different, or so I am told
Anyway today I am going to pack my suitcase and see how much it weighs, and then I shall see what I have to start taking out lol

Good morning Marion. I know what you mean about the bit before getting on the plane, I would be the same it used to be so much easier. I have forgotten where you are off to, it's the age thing, but I am sure you will enjoy yourself with your friend once you are on your way

Haven't any plans today but still have 2 cards to make for my nephews, on 23rd and 24th so could have a think about them.

I am off to work later. The kids are going to there nan's till Mike finishes work. They have been really good and done all there homework with out me nagging them i hope this last all the year!!
I made a fruit loaf for work when I got in last night, will the bread machine did!! We will have that at tea brake with a nice cuppa

Morning everyone. It's blowing a gale outside but at least the sun is out so I might attempt to hang the washing out when it's done (I'll just put double the amount of pegs on).

I'm going to have a go at making some tomato chutney today. I've never made it on my own before but I can remember making it with my mum when I was younger. I made strawberry jam last weekend and that was yummy especially on the fresh hot bread .

Marion good luck with the packing. My 12 year old flew for the first time this year when my parents took her to America. She was scared when she was packing her case and also when she was sat in the airport but apparently once she was through passport control and in the departure lounge she was fine and really enjoyed the flight.
