Looking forward to Dancing on Ice tonight... dont think Christine will be quite as good as Holly... will have to see!

Good morning Karen - dinner sounds good. I bought some lamb for a change as all the meat in Waitrose seems to have gone up. They wanted £9.40 for a fresh chicken - not that big and the beef was just as bad. Lamb always seems expensive but I thought I would get it as it was all the same price. Anyway I may not be cooking it until tomorrow either as we have decided to go out and find a walk as we have to plan one for April. Weather not too bad today, We will have to check out the pub where we will start from too Laughing

Enjoy your day.

Afternoon ladies. Hope you enjoy your walk Jacky - nice day for it! We've been to B& Q this morning to take back the shower curtain rail that Roy's decorator was going to put up before Christmas. He couldn't do it as the ceiling support was missing. Got it changed but they don't make it easy like doing a straight swap! Instead we were told to take it to the dept and ask them to take the missing piece out of another one Rolling Eyes Sensiblt the man in the bathroom dept said that was stupid as he would then have another set with a bit missing. So had to go back to Customer services for a refund, then go and pick another set then go and pay for it! Further complicated as when I bought the original one I got the OAP discount Very Happy so They had to write on the refund receipt to give me the discount again!

Waitrose meat is always quite expensive but that seems to be a bit excessive - under a fiver at Tesco even M & S is less than that!

That did make me laugh Karen lol!
Had a really good walk, found all the footpaths without any trouble although a few were a bit muddy but passable, then followed it with a great roast dinner in the pub. E
Everyone we met on our walk was so friendly and greeted us loudly, not just a nod and mumble that we find on most of our walks.

Hope Lou is getting better, I have slight aches and pains which get me down, don't know how I would manage in constant debilitating pains. Hugs Lou.
