Phew Friday again.

Where did that week go? Can't believe it will soon be New Years Eve and the start of another year. How exciting!

Woke up from a nap to find the temperature outside had soared to 35 and it was 29 (but felt cooler) inside. popped the aircon on for half an hour to circulate the air and cool down to a comfortable 24 again.

Going to have a picnic tea on the beach (if we can get near our favourite spot) have a swim and watch the sunset. This is the life! Still feels a bit of a dream and I keep wondering when the 'holiday' will end.

Clive enjoyed his bowls this morning and I got lots done before he got back for lunch. Still got to sort stuff in the craft room but don't feel inspired yet. Iexpect once I book a couple of classes later next month I'll get back in the swing of things again.

HOW ARE YOU SPENDING NEW YEAR'S EVE? Staying up? Going to bed early, watch fireworks? with friends?
We haven't decided yet but there is a good early display at Glenelg at 9.30 as well as the 'proper' one later so we might try that then see in the NY watching Sydney celebrations on TV as they are a couple of hours ahead of us. It could be another couple of degrees hotter so not making too many plans yet.

We're looking after the girls here in the morning so K & P can go shopping to refurnish their city appartment to let. Then we're meeting up for lunch at the Belair Hotel at 1.00.

Sorry not been on for a bit but ya know what it's like with kids in the house and a hubby off too! Flaming board games Scene It DVD games, Lego kits to construct, Android tablet PC's to set up etc etc etc.....

Hoping Ady is gonna get some DIY done today, a major novelty when your hubby is a maintenance man by trade! Some ceiling painting, sealing and door sanding!

Jane am glad all is coming together over there for you. I must say I for one am not jealous at all...love the UK and only other place that appeals to me is New Zealand or Canada...and that would only be for visits..not to live there. Must admit though my joints could do with a nice stint of sunshine!

OMG..... have just realised that it is gonna be my 40th in Feb! Yay... will be going over the hill at last.,.... now my age can start to catch up with my naff old body!

Have managed to muck up mine and Georgia's 32GB SD cards for the tablets..... I don't think I did it actually I think the cards are faulty.... I formatted them cos it was showing an error and not being read on the android tablets and now both of them have gone from a 32GB cards to 492kb Less than half a megabite

Dunno how the heck I can sort it out tho.,....so thats alot of money wasted unless the ebay seller is honourable

Fortunetly my manflu did not develop .... but had to pop to drs as I developed a very irritating wee infection ! but feeling ok now ...
went to the Panto this afternoon it was brill , had a good old laugh ....

You are very welcome Lou - I asked him and he started to explain which went completely over my head so I said it was best he spoke to you direct. Shame it was no use. Lexie it is all double dutch to me too. Lucky granddaughter Janet, is she the one on the little white pony. Sally always wanted to ride along a beach and finally did it in Argentina with her friend. They were taken by the father of a man they met in Chile. The highlight of her travels galloping across the sands.
