Thursday
Good Morning all, gosh, am I the only one up this morning?
We have rain again! honest, I would rather have the frost than rain.
I have a friend coming round today for a few hours, don't know if we will craft or chat but I have a feeling it will be the latter
I really must do some food shopping soon, I haven't done a proper one since Christmas! just bought the odd few things now and again. Mother Hubbard comes to mind when I go into my kitchen
Hope you all have a good day

Re: Thursday
Woke up to blocked drains. Luckily our visitors are out for the whole day so we were able to get them fixed. A good local (English) plumber arrived within the hour and didn't charge an arm and a leg. SA Water had to come as well (said in 5 hours - did it in 30 minutes - howzat for service!) and that's free. They're coming back to build up the main inspection hatch which appears to be a foot below our drive. Luckily that's their responsibility so no charge! The nasty pong had gone, water from washing machine and sinks no longer gurgling and the loos are flushing perfectly - phew!
I got away for a bit and left Clive supervising. Collected our pictures from the framer in the City, paid for the new leather sofas, which are being delivered next Wednesday, and even managed to get my hair cut at last - at least a month overdue.
Lou - I was only watching the cycling (from a comfy deck chair on the side of the road with my picnic lunch and 'eskie' of cold beverages) so didn't use much energy except for cheering all those lovely young men in lycra as they rushed past (3 times too mmmm).
Loopy Lou the Grevillia is surviving the heat in the garden and is growing slowly - I'm expecting a big spurt of growth when Autumn comes and beautiful flowers next Spring.

Re: Thursday
Morning Marion...
Think everyone is still in bed snoozing!
No frost, no rain and no sunshine either... have done some washing in the hope it might get a bit breezy, fingers crossed!
Not much planned for today, usual house stuff and then make time for some crafting.
Enjoy your day x

Re: Thursday
Good morning all. Pouring here this morning so I have been catching up on tv while a load of washing finishes. Going out for lunch with friends today and tomorrow off to Sandown for the Craft Show. Doesn't look like a lot of craft stalls this year, seems like more sewing and knitting when I looked at the list. Marion I have a bare cupboard too - I sent Martin out for a few bits but I can never think what I want unless I am walking round. Must get round to sorting out delivery - did it years ago but think its changed now and sounds easier.
Glad your plumbing is fixed Jane. Karen, enjoy your crafting. Seems a bit brighter now so may get my colouring done.

Re: Thursday
Morning all. Using phone today see yesterday post so you'll have to excuse any typos. Need to do a lot of tidying up and make the place look a bit more presentable as we have some of Roys colleagues coming for dinner on Sat. Better make a good impression! Jacky you need an ottlite or something similar. I asked for one for my birthday but Roy bought a different make and its like sitting in sunshine and colours match perfectly.
Re: Thursday
Good morning all, just a quickie cos I need to try and get some sleep.

Doh Why didn't I think of that, I have a desk lamp with a daylight bulb sat in my craft room - I usually use it when colouring in but I was downstairs and going to do it in the lounge but the light wasn't very good Didn't think of taking my lamp down too My arm still plays up on the computer too Sue - try and keep off it as much as possible and use my phone but I like using the Craft Artist to play around making backgrounds for cards etc. and it starts aching again.
