TGI Friday

Good morning Ladies and Gents,

I hope your all well and looking forward to the weekend, are many of you going to the NEC this weekend?
We went out last night with my son for a meal to a Chinese restaurant and had dumplings to start, when the arrived they didn't look like what we had ordered so we had a pick at them to see what they were, when they waiter came back I asked him again what they were and he said something I couldn't understand and went away, he came back and said the dumplings were for another table and took them away and gave them to the other table even though we had picked at them, I called the manager over and said that we were unhappy with what the waiter had just done and didn't feel comfortable eating there if thats the way they handle food, he said he was very sorry and the waiter had not thought about what he was doing and took the food from the other table and gave both tables a free bottle of wine. I still will not be going back there again.

I did make a start on tidying my craft mess but it's such a big job I ended up making some cards with stuff I forgot I had

Iam going to have some breakie, toast with lemon curd today.

My husband wants us to go Christmas shopping in Kingston today and we have to fit it in round his job (ie between 10 and 2,) so looks like I'm going to miss it this morning unfortunately.

This was my Friday off from Physio and although I was late in getting down I thought I had cracked it
Turns out their pooter has crashed

I had to leave as a friend called round to see me.

Afternoon all. Had a great morning at playgroup all the kids came in their PJ's for Children in need. We raised just under £75 which wasn't bad for a mornings work.

Last night my 8 year old daughter and I made 60 fairy cakes and then decorated them when they were cool. They were then put into 5 cake tins for all 3 kids to take into school to sell in their classes. Hopefully the school will raise over £1500 like they did last year.

Has anyone else been doing anything today for Children in Need???

Did the early morning taxi run with Michael, then took Roy to Drs for a checkup with his leg and BP, then took him shopping all before 11 so I could watch moovision. What a shame it wasn't working. Still hopefully it will have recorded so we can watch it later and all their hard work won't have been wasted.
