Any Strictly fans out there?

Looking forward to the programme tonight. Hope John finally gets his comeupance this week - he's had a good run but I'm getting a bit tired of his antics. He is a sweetie and his partner Kristina is amazing but I hate seeing much better dancers go out too early when they are much more entertaining.

I agree with you there Jane - I don't like it when decent acts go out over the popularity of others

I watch strictly but only until x-factor comes on. I do like to watch x-factor although i've been a little put off of late after a few really good singers have been booted off the show in favour of much worse singers - same thing really

Have given up watching either of them for just that reason, to be honest I don't see why the judges have any final say in the matter surely it should be down to public choice seeing as they are spending their money voting for the one they want to win.

Don't watch either I'm afraid.

Love strictly but gotta say John NEEDS to go now.....and boy isn't Tom one fine specimen of the male species .....sorry will go away now...lol

Not too keen on Austin but he's a great dancer. Rachel did a great job tonight but, as you say, Vincent is very irritating and OTT. Have enjoyed the 'new' slightly better behaved Brendan but I wish Lisa could get her nerves under control.

Jodie was sweet tonight - never easy going on so early. Christine seems to have move up a gear so it could be anyone in the bottom 2 tonight if people continue to vote for John. Cherie is amazing for her age but I think her days are numbered.

I must admit I like Christine... she is always so happy, and enjoyed her dance as well last night... but little Rachel...phewweeee... those judges were getting a bit hot under the collar.

I saw last night that John has retired from it...at last. He should have done that Saturday to stop Cherie being kicked off.

Yes I agree Anne. Cherie was so graceful and deserved to stay another week.

I just we we could see the actual numbers for the votes cast for each though, it could make interesting reading. The always say 'close' but that could be 1 or 2 or hundreds or thousands.....

I do like Tom though he puts everything into it

Jodie, I didn't think a great deal of before Strictly but she is far nicer and down to earth than her model personna, and for a tall person can be very graceful, though she laughs at herself for being all arms and legs.

And Brendan, isn't he being a good boy this series? But will it last?

Christine is doing well, a really like her bubbly nature and she is such a lovely girl, at times I think she has a look of Audrey Hepburn about her, or is it just me that thinks that?

I love Strictly, and the way we all have our opinions, which is a great thing about it, but this business with John has been spoiling it. He really isn't a dancer, but some of the judges have behaved like spoilt brats when they haven''t got their own way. I like Tom (no surprise there!) who is possibly the best, but also Austin and Lisa. I think Rachel and Christine put in some wonderful performances, but aren't perhaps as consistently good. Although Jodie has improved I think she is quite a way behind the rest, apparently her routines are much simpler and Ian arranges things to cover a lot for her, so, if we vote according to the best dancing, she probably is the one who should now be leaving.

I'm full of admiration for every contestant though, to paraphrase Brucie 'don't they do well'!
