Stay in bed Thursday
Good morning all,
It's grey, cold and wet here today, just the weather to curl up with a good book
Where does the time good, it's nearly the weekend again, I still have loads of Chrimbo shopping to do, I don't know what to get my friends grandaughter of is 3 1/2 she has every thing I buy her clothes through out the year, she has more toys than she knows what to do with any ideas would be welcome
We are going out on Saturday night to an Italian restaurant for my birthday, we have been there before and the food is really good.
Whats peoples plans for this weekend? do you have a wish list for Chrimbo?
I have crumpets for breakie this morning so have a great day all.
xx

Morning Mikki and all who follow!
Quick visit this morning as we have the 2 Ridgeback dogs for a week that we look after. The puppy came in last night and took one look at a moving Father Christmas ... and growled at it!! So I darent spend too long on the puter!!
Hope you are all ok.
Day off for me today, more wrapping to be done and unfortunately some housework! I know what I should put on my Christmas wish list..... A cleaner (One that comes in the house to clean for me!!!)
Have a good day,, see you later xx

Re: Stay in bed Thursday
Morning everyone, we had a bit of snow on the ground this morning but seems to be disappearing thank goodness. I am taking my friend to the hospital again today and then going for lunch at the tearoom in Seale Just may have to pop into the Crafty Cow and see whats about. My friend isn't interested in craft but always gets me to make all her cards for her - maybe she could look at the make up
Hope everyone gets rid of their aches, pains, rashes and colds before Christmas

Re: Stay in bed Thursday
Good morning all. Had my nice lie-in and there was snow on ground here too this morning Jacky. It's taken me nearly all morning to make one new baby card - which I should have done yesterday. Still not very happy with it though but it will have to do as need to get it in post today.
Re: Stay in bed Thursday
Sprinkling of snow here and very cold. Just walked down to the shops to collect my prescription. Had another lousy night's sleep with my husband coughing most of the time -that's 10 days now. Luckily he's a little better today and I haven't caught it ........................... yet!
Keep fit afternoon but don't fancy the cool chaging room. May do some crafting later and make some birthday cards to take to OZ with me.

I have had 2 emails saying that it could be scarlet fever Jayne but don't know much about it unfortunately...any nurses out there???
Re: Stay in bed Thursday
I just did a google search on images and it doesn't look the same to me. Might be an idea to get it checked out though Lou.
Re: Stay in bed Thursday
Cheers jacky, I got sent a link and the rash looked similar so I got her a last minute appt at the docs...NOT scarlet fever but just a virus.... her cough is quite nasty so he has given her antibiotics (just in case it gets worse) but I wont use them unless I have to, havent even had the prescription filled!
Piriton for the rash, paracetamol for the temp!

Re: Stay in bed Thursday
I have at last finished putting all the cards into envelopes and they are ready for posting, taking round the neighbours and we are going to Cheltenham on Saturday, weather permitting, so take the family ones then Had a card from the husband of my friend who died suddenly this summer. It brought a tear to my eye as I didn't really know him that well and he had taken the trouble to send a card to me. She was my best friend from college days. Had a spending spree at the Crafty Cow today - used my loyalty card so it didn't cost too much Just stocked up on mirror card again, the embossing mat for the cuttlebug, and some gold leaf Now have 6 cards to do Better start on those tomorrow It will be nice to do something different to Christmas cards
Re: Stay in bed Thursday
