Good morning everyone, not so cold today How are you all today and what will you be doing I have already done some washing and got the veggies ready for lunch, on the second cuppa of the day, so having a peek to see how you all are. Not sure what we will do, think hubby wants to `play trains` in the loft, so I might just do some more cards. Well I do hope you all have a lovely day take care and keep warm Janetxxx

Been awake for a couple of hours hoping sleep would return but hasn't so decided to get up, it's still dark outside, very strange concept for me to see dark in the morning
Not sure what we are doing today yet but do feel like I need to get out for a nice walk at some point

Laying there with my tummy rumbling didn't help, probably if I had got up and had a couple of crackers might have gone back to sleep

I have never been able to get my head around the time differences, I find it amazing that it's a different time from here in other countries let alone a diiferent day, while we are still in Sunday Jane will be in Monday.

I hope you are all well and have not suffered too much with the snow, Alan was unable to go to work Monday or Tuesday which made the rest of the week funny for me, I never knew what day it was

I get disability living allowance and we use it to get a car from the motorbility scheme, it's really a good system as long as you have DLA you can get a new car and you only pay for the petrol, you can keep the car for up to three year then you can pick another new one, well I am due for a new car so we are going today to look at cars, we need quite a large one for my wheelchair and the cats cage as you can imagine Alan will be like a kid in a sweet shop as he is the one who drives it so he gets to pick the car, I have my say over what colour we have.

After that ww will be home for roast pork with all the trimings, I love roast pork mmmmmm.

We are off out for breakie first, I think I'll have a spanish omelette.

Morning all,

Had a very quiet birthday lazing at home until last night when my hubby family descended on us and THEY had loadsa fun playing on the Wii... with me sitting there like a plum on the sofa!! I can't stand for long so playing at the minute is not an option, but it was nice x Thank you for my birthday wishes yesterday ladies x

Glad to hear you got there without too much trouble Jane, have just read your other post and sounds like you are already having loads of fun x Love the idea of swimming in an open air pool at midnight under the starry sky....

Morning everyone. Well after last night making a fruit loaf I now have a normal loaf cooking in the breadmaker. The house smells yummy at the moment

Hello to all you early risers, I didn't get up until 9.30 this morning I have had breakfast and got all the veg prepared for dinner later on - Sally and her BF are coming so wont be eating until about 3.00 - They have a large late breakfast so are not ready to eat until later but he has to go back to barracks so can't leave it too late Hope you find the car you want Mikki - Ooohh just watching tv and they have made a jam roly poly - it looks yummy . Mince pies sound nice too Sue. Why am I thinking of food when I have just had breakfast

Morning all I woke up to snow falling so went around chanting "I've got the snow ... " etc, you know the rest by now he he. Ten minutes later it was " I've got NO snow ... " he he mind you it would have been frustrating today as I woke up with a bad throat, chest and the fuzzy head thing, oh and my nose leaks too he he.

Snap. Coughing too. Didnt help when I got a piece of muesli stuck on the back of my tongue which refused to move with water, a biscuit or cuppa tea. Had to have a bite of bread in the end.

At last finished Ians card.

I had done the stamping and colouring but didn't know what to do for a background. Going through my papers looking for blue card came across some flocked blue and green paper and the blue looked like it had clouds on it so used that I had forgotten this paper, came in a kit probably from QVC a few years ago

Hope it's not coming down here We have had to postpone our walk tomorrow as Martin went to check and it is just compacted ice on all the paths - being under trees the sun isnt getting to it either. However, it is pouring with rain at the moment We will be doing it next Monday so hopefully the weather will improve then
