Good morning to you all. The sun is out here again today

Not sure what to do today may pop down to the seafront again as I didn't make it yesterday. Jakey went with his Dad as I was side tracked by clothes shopping Got some real good bargains and find that I can go into alot more choice of shops now instead of just Evans which is over priced and all of the larger ladies wear the same thing.

Just popped on to say a quick hello, before heading off to Tescos. Then I must get on and make
some cards this afternoon as I need to get a few in the post tomorrow and as we have the godchildren
with us for a lot of August I need to start on those as well.

sorry havent been on for a few days... me and time seem to lose track!
Anyway.. feel as if I have had a night on the tiles, and not had the pleasure of doing so.
Have taken a couple of paracetamols and hoping the headache will ease before long.
Went to see Keith yesterday, its a full days job getting there and back - and when we got there he was falling asleep!!! He can come home once he gets a wedgie thing for the bed, and of course transport. Northern General say it isnt their responsibility and Bassetlaw say it isnt theirs either! Will wait and see how this goes!
Weather hasnt quite decided what it wants to do today. This morning it started off sunny, but we now have some grumpy looking clouds looming!

We're off to the local manor house for a "Before the Romans came" day with prehistoric finds from around Leicestershire and crafts and games for the kids to do. These days are usually fun and the kids come away buzzing
Joshua has a party later too so I'm not sure if I'll be able to get any cards made today

Good morning ladies, not a bad day here, bit overcast but the sun has made a watery appearance Ian & Ruth are supposed to be coming this morning to give me my birthday present as I won't see them until tomorrow evening at badminton and we are off to have lunch with Sally and Greg and then to the cinema to see the new Harry Potter film. Hope I understand what is going on as I got a bit lost with the last one as I haven't read the books for them, only read the first few

Hello there to all, weather here is really cloudy think we are in for a down pour. Hope it stays off for a while as me hubby and the 3 childern are heading to the rec (recreation ground and park were we live, we just call it the rec as it was just a big playing area with a few goal posts and a basket ball net. But over the years money has been spent up there and a park area has been added) Anyway after that long winded explanation we are goiong up there to play rounders we usually grab other familys to come up to but just us today. Afternoon my lovlies , hope everyone is ok I've got to admit feel pretty rough myself , have'nt felt well for a little while but now I've got a chest infection feeling rough, so have to battle with the Dr receptionist to get an appointment...known of you are drs receptionist are you ? as they seem to be a differant breed to normal humans ! Th battles I have had over the years!! Hope everyone is ok Karen what a rough time you and Keith are having it seems to have been going on for weeks and weeks , have a extra hug , and hugs to everyone lse .lexie

Well we had a lovely lunch at Zizzis Italian and then went to the cinema and as suspected, I hadn't a clue what was going on. Now we are home and Martin is sitting watching the Grand Prix recorded this afternoon so I am completely bored but really can't even be bothered to go upstairs to my computer. I think an early night is due - I finished my book last night so I was very late

We went down to the seafront but unfortunately not many planes and lots of amusements rides. But we still had a good wander around, got our toes wet, Jakes had an ice cream and saw loads of his mates from school so he was happy.

Jan are you on the wine again ?

I'm sure DR's receptionist have to train as bouncers before they let them answer the phones. It's a nightmare at ours too, they want to know whats wrong with you before you get an appointment, not telling them nosy beaks my business. I tend not to bother for myself and just pop to Tesco as the pharmacy is very good up there and fortunately Jakey is a healthy little boy too
